Introducing all of Patek Philippe's new watches for 2026!

2026.04.25

Patek Philippe unveiled many new timepieces at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026. As in previous years, a variety of complications were showcased, including the first-ever perpetual calendar watch in the "CUBITUS" line. However, a major highlight was the return of the medium-sized "Golden Ellipse," which was discontinued in 2009. This article will introduce all of these new models.

2026/4/25 update

"Celestial Sunrise/Sunset Times" Ref. 6105G

Patek Philippe unveiled a groundbreaking grand complication that incorporates a sunrise and sunset time display function, continuing the lineage of its astronomical watches. This function was previously only found in extremely complex pocket watches, such as those made for James Ward Packard and Henry Graves Jr. Now, after five years of development, it has finally been made practical in a regular collection wristwatch.

Patek Philippe "Celestial Sunrise/Sunset" Ref. 6105G

Patek Philippe "Celestial Sunrise/Sunset" Ref. 6105G-001
Automatic movement (Cal. 240 C LU CL LCSO). 51 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 48 hours. 18K white gold case (47mm diameter, 12.39mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 71,230,000 yen (including tax).

The highlight feature, the sunrise and sunset time display, shares the outer pointer date and scale, with a red hand extending from the center indicating the date and two white hands showing the sunrise and sunset times. This function is powered by two egg-shaped cams that replicate the yearly cycle of Geneva, Switzerland, and a patented double-feeder mechanism.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 6105G-001

The dial, a visual highlight, is constructed by layering three transparent discs made of sapphire and mineral crystal. This dial reproduces the movement of stars in the night sky, as well as the moon's orbit and phases, in real time.

What's even more surprising is that this feature works with both winter and summer time. A pusher on the side of the case allows you to switch between summer and winter time, and when you do, the regular hour hand moves one hour, while the date scale on the outer edge rotates in conjunction, correcting for the respective time zone.

The movement is the latest Cal. 240 C LU CL LCSO, for which six patents were filed during development. Based on the ultra-thin structure of the renowned Cal. 240, it successfully minimizes the thickness increase from the base movement to just 1.12mm, despite the addition of 121 parts to construct the sunrise/sunset mechanism and other components. Furthermore, meticulous attention to thinness is evident in the use of an eccentric micro-rotor made of 22K gold, resulting in a case thickness of just 12.39mm for the watch itself.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 6105G-001

The case sides feature an original "X" shaped decoration reminiscent of the modular structure of a spaceship. This decoration can also be seen on the rubber strap, which adds a sporty touch.

The case, which houses the intricate mechanism, is made of 18K white gold and has a large diameter of 47mm. On the other hand, the seamless silhouette without lugs gives it a sleeker appearance than its actual size would suggest.

"24-hour display alarm" Ref. 5322G

A new chiming watch has been unveiled, blending a modern alarm display with traditional Calatrava design. Featuring a patented 24-hour alarm mechanism, this innovative complication is the only Patek Philippe chiming watch in the current collection to offer practical water resistance.

Patek Philippe "24-Hour Alarm" Ref. 5322G-001

Patek Philippe "24-Hour Alarm" Ref. 5322G-001
Automatic movement (Cal. AL 30-660 SC). 52 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 52 hours. 18K white gold case (41mm diameter, 12.22mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 45,790,000 yen (including tax).
Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 5322G-010

Patek Philippe "24-Hour Alarm" Ref. 5322G-010
Automatic movement (Cal. AL 30-660 SC). 52 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 52 hours. 18K white gold case (41mm diameter, 12.22mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 45,790,000 yen (including tax).

The highlight of this model is its alarm function, which is operated by a pusher at the 2:30 position on the side of the case. A single hammer strikes a gong, signaling the set time. This set time is digitally displayed in 15-minute increments through a small window on the dial, and the alarm's ON/OFF status and whether it is day or night can also be determined through a dedicated window. These mechanisms are controlled by the Cal. AL 30-660 SC automatic movement, which features a 21K gold rotor.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication"

A bell-shaped window is positioned by cutting out the Arabic numeral index at 12 o'clock, where you can check whether the alarm is ON or OFF. Below that are the set time and day/night indicator.

The lacquered dial features a gradient color that deepens towards the outer edge. Two color variations are available: navy blue and green. White gold Arabic numeral indices and syringe-shaped hands with luminous paint are positioned, and together with the pointer date display at the 6 o'clock position, it creates an instrument-like appearance.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication"

The case is made of 18K white gold, and the entire circumference of the case, including the pusher for operating the alarm, is engraved with an intricate Clous de Paris pattern.

The straps are designed to enhance the overall design coherence: a navy blue composite band with cream stitching is paired with the blue dial, while a patina-finished green alligator band is used with the green dial. Both models also come with a replacement calfskin strap.

"CUBITUS" Ref.5840P

The "CUBITUS" square watch, which made a spectacular debut as the first new collection in a quarter of a century and has become a new icon for the Maison, has unveiled its flagship perpetual calendar model. It is the collection's first "grand complication," fusing a sophisticated square case with a skeleton dial and intricate complications.

Patek Philippe "CUBITUS" Ref. 5840P-001

Patek Philippe "CUBITUS" Ref. 5840P
Automatic movement (Cal. 28-28 Q SQU). 27 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 48 hours. Platinum case (45mm diameter (10-4 o'clock position), 10mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 30,530,000 yen (including tax).

What immediately catches the eye in this watch is the blue sunburst dial with openwork that creates a striped pattern. This openwork is precisely cut using a laser, highlighting the three sub-dials that make up the perpetual calendar. Through the gaps, the intricate structure of the movement, designed to fit the square form, is also visible.

Patek Philippe "CUBITUS" Ref. 5840P-001

The moon phase display, positioned at 6 o'clock, features a realistic depiction of the moon's appearance achieved through metallization and laser engraving.

The 45mm diameter (10-4 o'clock position) platinum case powerfully emphasizes its unique proportions through a combination of polished and satin finishes. It houses the ultra-thin automatic movement, Cal. 28-28 Q SQU, with a perpetual calendar. This specially designed caliber, while square in shape, features a skeletonized design and an eccentric 22K gold rhodium-plated micro-rotor adorned with a Calatrava cross in blue varnish.

Patek Philippe "CUBITUS" Ref. 5840P-001

The collection's signature "thinness" is also retained, with the case thickness kept to a mere 10mm. Furthermore, a baguette-cut diamond is set at the 6 o'clock position on the case, signifying that it is a Patek Philippe platinum case model.

"On-demand hour and minute display and automaton" Ref. 5249R

The brand has unveiled its first automaton-equipped masterpiece in its modern collection. Inspired by a pocket watch designed in 1958 by the genius watchmaker Louis Cottier (now housed in the company's museum), this piece draws its design concept from the 17th-century French poet Jean de La Fontaine's fable "The Raven and the Fox."

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 5249R-001

Patek Philippe "On-Demand Hour/Minute Display and Automata" Ref. 5249R
Automatic movement (Cal. 31-260 PS HMD AU). 28 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 48 hours. 18K rose gold case (43mm diameter, 11.55mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 65,120,000 yen (including tax).

The dial features mechanical figures of the crow and fox from the story. These are on-demand retrograde hour and minute displays that activate when the pusher at the 2 o'clock position is pressed. When the pusher is pressed, a complex and playful animation is activated in which the fox's nose points to the hours and the cheese held by the crow points to the minutes.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 5249R-001

At the 6 o'clock position is a decorative small seconds subdial, with a single diamond set in its center. Furthermore, hand-engraved, three-dimensional plant decorations can be seen at the 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions, as well as around the mechanical subdial.

This intricate mechanism is encased in a 43mm diameter 18K rose gold case. The entire case is meticulously polished, and features a turban-shaped crown, maintaining a classic appearance. Furthermore, the case adopts an "officer" style, allowing for appreciation of the movement's intricate workings and decorations.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 5249R-001

The back of the case has a hinge that is not visible from the outside, and opening the dust cover reveals the transparent back.

Inside is the Cal. 31-260 PS HMD AU automatic movement, featuring a platinum eccentric micro-rotor. The strap is a lustrous chocolate-brown alligator band, further enhancing its dignified appearance.

"Minute Repeater" Ref. 7047G

An ambitious new timepiece has arrived, offering a modern and sporty interpretation of the complex minute repeater mechanism. With its cool color palette, this watch proposes a new style of grand complication that also matches urban casual wear.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 7047G-001

Patek Philippe "Minute Repeater" Ref. 7047G
Automatic movement (Cal. R 27 PS). 39 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 48 hours. 18K white gold case (38mm diameter, 10.24mm thickness). Not water resistant. 90,560,000 yen (including tax).

The highlight of this timepiece is its strikingly contrasting navy blue dial. An embossed carbon pattern adorns the center, surrounded by a snail-finish inner minute scale, a rotating satin-finish hour circle, and a sunburst-finish outer minute scale. Furthermore, orange accents provide a sporty touch, giving it an avant-garde look that is quite unusual for a Patek Philippe minute repeater.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 7047G-001

The 18K white gold case, with a diameter of 38mm and a thickness of 10.24mm, maintains the refined proportions reminiscent of the "Calatrava." The entire watch is meticulously polished, ensuring that even within its casual design, the dignity of a complex timepiece is not compromised.

The Cal. R 27 PS movement is a minute repeater movement with two classic gongs. It features an automatic winding mechanism with an eccentric micro-rotor made of 22K gold, and the transparent case back allows you to admire the intricate mechanism that produces the clear tone and the superb finish.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 7047G-001

The strap also contributes to the sporty feel of this watch. It features a navy blue composite band with a fabric pattern, and the orange stitching and lining create a sense of unity with the dial's design.

"Chronograph Perpetual Calendar" Ref. 5270P

Patek Philippe's history of chronograph and perpetual calendar watches has been passed down from the "Ref. 1518," which was created in 1941, to the present day. Three new colors have been added to the platinum case model of the latest model in this lineage, the "Ref. 5270."

The variations include anthracite with a deep sunburst finish, as well as vivid lacquer blue and lacquer red. These vibrant three-color gradient dials join the existing green dial, adding a modern approach to the classic high-complication watch.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication"

Each dial features three-dimensional white gold hour markers and dauphine hands, ensuring excellent legibility. These new models also feature a tachymeter scale printed in white, a feature absent in existing green dial models.

The hand-wound movement Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q is known as a masterpiece caliber, incorporating six patented chronograph technologies. It features a day and month display, pointer date and moon phase, as well as a leap year cycle and day/night indicator in a small window, with a wealth of information elegantly presented on the dial.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication"

A single diamond at the 6 o'clock position on the case indicates that it is a platinum case model.

The 41mm diameter platinum case features a concave bezel and sharp, tiered lugs, all meticulously polished. Each model is paired with a sporty, fabric-like composite band with stitching that matches the dial's color.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication"

This is a hand-wound model without a rotor, and its transparent case back allows you to fully appreciate its extremely complex structure, its drive system, and its meticulous decoration.

"Split-seconds chronograph with perpetual calendar" Ref. 5204G

The "Ref. 5204," which combines two of the brand's proudest complications—a perpetual calendar and a split-seconds chronograph—has now been updated with an 18K white gold case model.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 5204G-010

The dial features a navy blue color with a sunburst finish. Three red chronograph hands provide both high legibility and a striking accent. Furthermore, the combination with a composite band with red stitching creates a decidedly sporty look. This model also comes with a dark blue alligator band, also with red stitching, as a replacement.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 5204G-010

The 40mm diameter case features a meticulously polished finish from the bezel to the lugs. Despite housing a large and complex mechanism, its proportions maintain a refined balance.

Internally, it retains the Cal. CHR 29-535 PS Q movement from existing models. This movement boasts an extremely complex structure, combining a split-seconds chronograph mechanism with two column wheels and a horizontal clutch with a perpetual calendar module. It consists of a staggering 496 components.

"Inline Perpetual Calendar" Ref. 5236P

The "Inline Perpetual Calendar," which displays the day of the week, date, and month in a single column in a window at the 12 o'clock position, now has new color variations.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 5236P-011

Patek Philippe "Inline Perpetual Calendar" Ref. 5236P

While the first "inline perpetual calendar" released in 2021 featured a platinum case and blue dial, this model combines a platinum case with a silver dial. Furthermore, the case is fitted with an anthracite composite band featuring a fabric pattern with cream-colored stitching, giving it a sophisticated appearance.

Patek Philippe "Grand Complication" Ref. 5236P-011

The dial features a vertical satin finish and a gradient that deepens towards the outer edge. Anthracite-finished white gold hour markers and baton hands add a touch of sophistication.

The 41.3mm diameter case is polished to a high shine, giving off the rich luster characteristic of platinum. A diamond is set between the lugs at the 6 o'clock position, indicating that this model is made with the finest materials.

The movement is the Cal. 31-260 PS QL, which integrates the calendar mechanism by arranging four discs on the same plane. Three patented technologies have been incorporated to realize this innovative inline display, resulting in superior legibility and a simple dial layout that sets it apart from conventional perpetual calendars. In addition, a platinum eccentric micro-rotor allows for a slim proportion with a case thickness of 11.07 mm, despite the complex calendar function.

"Annual Calendar Moon Phase" Ref. 5396R

The annual calendar, which requires adjustment only once a year, is a practical complication patented by Patek Philippe in 1996. The "Ref. 5396," which combines this function with a moon phase display, now offers an elegant option with an 18K rose gold case and a sand-beige sunburst dial.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 5396R-016

Automatic movement (Cal. 26-330 S QA LU 24H). 34 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 45 hours. 18K rose gold case (38.5mm diameter, 11.2mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 10,990,000 yen (including tax).

This sand-beige dial features a radial sunburst finish, harmonizing beautifully with the warm glow characteristic of 18K rose gold. Faceted dauphine hands and bullet-shaped hour markers stand out against the monochromatic dial through their light reflection.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 5396R-016

The dial features a month and day display at the 12 o'clock position, and a date display, moon phase, and 24-hour display at the 6 o'clock position. The symmetrical layout gives it an elegant impression despite displaying complex information.

The movement continues to be the Cal. 26-330 S QA LU 24H. It features a complex mechanism that requires only one calendar adjustment at the end of February to display the date, and its intricate workings and the rotation of the 21K gold rotor can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

The 38.5mm diameter case features smooth curves from the bezel to the lugs, and the polished finish throughout emphasizes the luster of the rose gold. The strap, which fits snugly on the wrist, is a hand-stitched dark chestnut-colored lustrous alligator band fitted with a rose gold folding buckle.

"Calatrava" Ref. 5227G

The Calatrava is a dress watch that symbolizes Patek Philippe. Among them, the popular "Ref. 5227" model, which features an "officer" type case, is now available with a rose gold plated opaline dial.

Patek Philippe "Calatrava" Ref. 5227G-015

The 18K white gold case, measuring just 9.24mm thick, features flowing curves from the lugs to the sides. A dust cover protecting the sapphire crystal back is attached to the back of the case with a hidden hinge, reminiscent of a traditional pocket watch.

Patek Philippe "Calatrava" Ref. 5227G-015

The rose gold-plated opaline dial features contrasting anthracite white gold hour markers and dauphine hands, combining elegance with excellent legibility.

The movement housed within is the Cal. 26-330 SC. Once the dust cover is opened, one can admire its exquisite finish, which meets the stringent standards of the Patek Philippe Seal. Here, one can also see the 21K gold rotor, which boasts superior winding efficiency.

The strap features a brilliant chocolate brown alligator band that complements the watch's rich and aged appearance. The classic pin buckle is also made of 18K white gold, just like the case.

"Golden Ellipse" Ref. 5738G & Ref. 3738/100G

Since its creation in 1968, the "Golden Ellipse" has captivated enthusiasts with its minimalist design and original form. Now, a medium-sized model of this iconic collection has been revived.

Patek Philippe "Golden Ellipse" Ref. 5738G-001

Patek Philippe "Golden Ellipse" Ref. 5738G
Automatic movement (Cal. 240). 27 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 48 hours. 18K white gold case (39.5mm x 34.5mm, 5.9mm thick). 3 ATM water resistance. 6,590,000 yen (including tax).

The case design is directly inherited from previous models, featuring a soft, oval silhouette. The case material is 18K white gold. Two size variations are available: Ref. 5738G, measuring 39.5mm vertically and 34.5mm horizontally, and Ref. 3738/100G, a more classic size measuring 35.6mm vertically and 31.1mm horizontally.

Patek Philippe "Golden Ellipse"

The unique oval case shape is inspired by the "golden ratio (1:1.6183...)," which is considered the balance that humans find most aesthetically pleasing.

The watch is equipped with the renowned Cal. 240 movement, which was also used in the previous Ref. 3738. By incorporating an eccentric micro-rotor made of 22K gold, it is an ultra-thin movement with a thickness of just 2.53mm. Thanks to this movement, both new models, despite having different case sizes, achieve a thickness of 5.9mm, making them the thinnest in the collection.

The minimalist dial layout remains unchanged. The 18K gold dial plate features only white gold baton-shaped hour markers and delicate "cheveux" (hair-thin) hands. The deep olive green color and cream-stitched calfskin strap in the same color further enhance the overall chic impression.

"Complication" Ref. 4946G-001

The "Ref. 4946" series is a compact annual calendar watch that eliminates gem settings. A new model in this series, featuring a contemporary 18K white gold design, has been added.

Patek Philippe "Complication" Ref. 4946G-001

Automatic movement (Cal. 26-330 S QA LU). 34 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve: minimum 35 hours, maximum 45 hours. 18K white gold case (38mm diameter, 11mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 9,950,000 yen (including tax).

The cool dial of this timepiece features a double satin finish that intersects vertically and horizontally, adding a delicate touch reminiscent of Shandong silk. The denim-style calfskin strap creates a sense of unity with this dial. Both are colored in blue-gray, giving this classic annual calendar watch a casual look suitable for off-duty occasions.

Patek Philippe "Complication" Ref. 4946G-001

The Arabic numeral indices, hands, and scale are marked in white, and the strap is adorned with stitching in the same color, emphasizing the overall sense of unity. In addition, luminous paint is applied to various parts, ensuring practical visibility.

The centrally positioned sub-dial layout displays the month and day of the week at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, and the moon phase at the 6 o'clock position. This well-balanced layout is a signature design that makes Patek Philippe's annual calendar instantly recognizable. The movement is the automatic Cal. 26-330 S QA LU.

"Complication" Ref. 7129J-001

A new carmine red variation has been announced for the Ref. 7129, which has its roots in the world time function devised by watchmaker Louis Cottier. The case is made of 18K yellow gold with a diameter of 36mm and features a design that deliberately omits gem setting.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 7129J-001

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 7129J-001
Automatic movement (Cal.240 HU). 33 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Minimum power reserve of 48 hours. 18K yellow gold case (36mm diameter, 8.83mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 9,360,000 yen (including tax).

This watch's world time mechanism features a groundbreaking design patented by the brand in 1999. By simply setting any city at the 12 o'clock position with a single pusher, the two-tone 24-hour ring and hour hand switch in perfect synchronization. This allows for intuitive reading of the time and day/night cycle in 24 different time zones around the world.

Patek Philippe "Complications" Ref. 7129J-001

The Cal.240 HU movement incorporates the aforementioned complex mechanism, yet its built-in micro-rotor keeps the thickness down to a mere 3.88mm. This slim design contributes to a gender-neutral case size of 36mm in diameter and 8.83mm in thickness.

The new carmine red dial features hand-guilloché decoration that radiates from the center, creating a rich, three-dimensional effect. In addition, the case is harmoniously fitted with rhombus-shaped hands and hour markers, and although both are understated in design, they create a striking contrast against the crimson dial.

"Calatrava" Ref.7200/50G-001

The new Calatrava collection also includes a compact model with a diameter of 34.6mm. This timepiece features a classic design with straight lugs and screw-down strap bars, combined with a sand-beige dial.

Patek Philippe "Calatrava" Ref. 7200/50G-001

Automatic movement (Cal. 240). 27 jewels. 21,600 vibrations/hour. Minimum power reserve of 48 hours. 18K white gold case (34.6mm diameter, 7.37mm thickness). 3 ATM water resistance. 6,130,000 yen (including tax).

The case is made of 18K white gold and has been hand-polished to a high standard by skilled craftsmen. It is also worth noting that while it retains the traditional "officer style" form, it is equipped with the ultra-thin Cal.240 movement, resulting in a slender proportion with a thickness of just 7.37mm.

Patek Philippe "Calatrava" Ref. 7200/50G-001

The dial features a sunburst finish and boasts a minimalist design with Breguet numerals in white gold and pear-shaped hands. In addition, the use of round cabochons as minute scales ensures both legibility and a gentle appearance.

The watch comes with a calfskin strap in a color matching the dial, fitted with a white gold pin buckle. The case back is transparent, allowing you to admire the off-center 22K gold micro-rotor adorned with the Calatrava cross.
