"Hermes HO8 Skellet"

The Hermès HO8 men's watch collection, which debuted in 2021, includes the "Hermès H08 Skeleton," a titanium model with a skeleton design. It embodies the world of Hermès men's watches. The case features a combination of polished and matte finishes, and the design combines strength and delicacy, resulting in a modern and sporty aesthetic. While the collection initially featured models made from high-tech materials such as graphene composites, the range has expanded in recent years to include titanium models and other variations.

The new "Hermès HO8" features an extremely lightweight construction, combining a titanium case with a titanium movement. The photo shows a model with a blue Zanzibar-colored strap, and matching Arabic numerals and hour and minute hands.

The newly announced model is an extremely lightweight watch featuring a titanium case with a matte DLC coating and satin finish, and equipped with an openworked titanium Cal.H1978 S movement. The Cal.H1978 S is characterized by its intersecting bridges that resemble woven threads, allowing the gear train to mesh and overlap as it ticks away the time. The accompanying rubber strap also features a texture that evokes the feeling of "weaving."

"Arceau Minute Repeater Samarkand"

The "Arceau" collection will be expanded with the addition of the "Arceau Samarkand," which features a minute repeater function. The Arceau is based on a design by Henri d'Origny from 1978, and is characterized by its asymmetrical rugs inspired by the stirrups of horse tack.

The dial of the Arceau Samarkand features openwork from the 12 o'clock to the 4 o'clock position. This is shaped like the head of a horse, which is linked to Hermès' history. Not only is the silhouette unique, but the blue screws are positioned as eyes, and the levers and bridges are designed and positioned to resemble the muscles, mane, or even equestrian equipment of a horse. At the 9 o'clock position is the lever for operating the minute repeater, and the mechanism that strikes the chimes rhythmically can be observed through the openwork.

"Slim Do Pocket ROAAAAAR!"

The "Slim d'Hermès Pocket Roar!" pocket watch features a design that depicts a roaring lion using wood marquetry, with an enamel dial peeking out from behind. "Roar!" is an onomatopoeia for a lion's roar, and the watch captures a lively expression as if the lion has just leaped out of the savanna.

The original artwork for the lion in this piece was created by British artist Alice Shirley, and was originally painted for a silk scarf. The wood marquetry used to depict the lion involves selecting and combining the unique tones of different wood species, much like choosing paints. From amaranth, burl, bubinga, tulipwood, and maple, the artist carefully selected tones that closely matched the original artwork, and then carved out each individual piece. These pieces are then assembled like a jigsaw puzzle to form the lion.

The dial of the pocket watch, which forms the background of the lion, is made of grand feu enamel in cypres (green) and blue sapphire. It features a herringbone pattern, creating a geometric design that contrasts sharply with the lively lion.
