At Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026, Czapek unveiled three new models from its "Antarctic" collection. All are limited-edition timepieces featuring Grade 5 titanium cases and a new "Cosmic Blue" dial that accentuates the titanium's beauty. Each model incorporates one of three movements that marked significant milestones in the brand's watchmaking history: a three-hand movement, a skeletonized movement, and a tourbillon.

"Antarctic Titanium Dark Sector Cosmic Blue"
The Antarctic Titanium Dark Sector Cosmic Blue is a timepiece that offers an innovative reinterpretation of the sector dial, a traditional design element in watches. Two concentric circles, positioned inside the outer minute track, are interrupted at 12 points, and these "gaps" are used to represent the hour markers.

A key feature of this year's new releases, including this model, is the use of Grade 5 titanium for both the case and bracelet. Titanium is known as a high-performance metal that is lightweight yet boasts exceptional strength, as well as excellent allergy and corrosion resistance. The Antarctic 3 models introduced this year embody the brand's paradoxical spirit by employing this material, which possesses the characteristics of being both light and tough.

Another notable feature of the three new models is the use of Čapek's unique "Cosmic Blue" as the main color. This shade was carefully adjusted through trial and error to complement the titanium material, creating a contrast in texture and tone between it and the powerful dark gray exterior.
The Cal.SXH5 movement housed within the watch is a milestone in the brand's watchmaking, as it was the first movement designed, developed, and assembled entirely in-house by Czapek in 2020. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, and its off-center micro-rotor made of recycled platinum contributes to the slim 10.6mm case thickness.
Incidentally, the three models being introduced this time can be ordered with a full satin finish or a combination of satin and polished. This is the first time this has been offered for the brand's titanium case models. In addition, all bracelets, like those on existing models, feature an "easy-release" system that allows for easy replacement with the included rubber strap, as well as a micro-adjustment mechanism for a more customized fit.
"Antarctic Revelation Titanium Cosmic Blue"
The "Antarctic Revelation" line, which usually hides the movement's drive components and showcases their functional beauty through a skeletonized dial, has also released a new model featuring a Grade 5 titanium exterior and cosmic blue color.

What's particularly noteworthy about the Cal.SXH7 movement is that it's not simply a redesign of an existing movement with weight reductions, but rather an inverted and redesigned overall. As a result, the escapement and stop-seconds mechanism, which are normally hidden, are exposed on the dial side, allowing you to directly observe their operation not only during normal use but also when adjusting the time.

The dial features smoked sapphire crystal, revealing the fully skeletonized main plate and creating a trompe-l'oeil effect where multiple bridges appear to float. The use of cosmic blue on the minute track and the small seconds subdial at 4:30 further emphasizes the striking contrast with this deep, three-dimensional structure.
Like the aforementioned sector dial model, this timepiece will also be available in two case sizes: 40.5mm and 38.5mm. Both models are remarkably slim, with a thickness of just 10.6mm despite their complex structure. Only 50 of the former and 25 of the latter will be produced throughout the year.
"Antarctic Tourbillon Cosmic Blue"
This timepiece, based on the "Antarctic Tourbillon," was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the brand's revival. The Cal. 9 movement takes center stage in this timepiece, with its design highlighting the flying tourbillon, gear train, and mainspring arranged on a vertical axis, along with a massive center bridge. In this new model, the guilloché engraving, emphasizing this unique design, is enhanced with a cosmic blue finish achieved through blue PVD coating.

The Cal.9 movement is entirely manufactured in-house at La Chaux-de-Fonds, with not only the design but also the majority of the component processing done within the company's own factory. Even the decorative elements, including the center bridge that crosses the dial, are applied in-house, symbolizing the brand's technological advancements. Furthermore, it boasts a power reserve of approximately 100 hours, demonstrating a commitment to both aesthetics and practicality.
The Grade 5 titanium case retains the same design as existing models, with a diameter of 40.5mm and a thickness of 11.5mm. The slightly raised crystal and bezel-less design remain unchanged. Only 25 pieces will be sold worldwide.
