In 2020, Breitling launched Geneva Watch Days alongside Bulgari, de Bethune, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., and MB & F. Now in its seventh year, the summer's new product fair featured a total of 71 participating brands, and Breitling released a special "Navitimer" model to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis's birth.

"Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis"
Breitling's Navitimer pilot chronograph, beloved by many celebrities, has released a limited edition model, the "Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis," to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of jazz musician Miles Davis, one of its avid wearers. Only 500 of these watches will be sold worldwide.
The design is based on the "Ref. 806/Mk5" worn by Miles Davis. It features the original twin jet logo and a "reverse panda" dial with a black base and white sub-dials. For longtime Breitling fans, this is a specification they have been waiting for for many years.
The case has a diameter of 41mm and is made of stainless steel. Inside is the in-house hand-wound movement, Cal. B09.
The strap can be chosen from either a brown calf leather strap with a folding buckle or a stainless steel Air Racer bracelet.

The newly unveiled Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis is a stepping stone towards the opening of the world's first Breitling Social Club, scheduled for late 2027 in Williamsburg, New York. The basic design is the same as the stainless steel case model, incorporating original design elements such as the reverse panda dial with the twin jet logo. The indices are Arabic numerals only at the 12 o'clock position, with simple bar indices at the others, and are coated with vintage-colored luminous paint.
The 41mm diameter case size is also the same as the original. It features a combination of brushed and polished finishes, slender lugs, and pump-style pushers, creating an elegant look that perfectly complements the 18K yellow gold.
The Cal.B09 movement can be admired through the transparent case back. This movement boasts high precision, having obtained COSC chronometer certification, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, with the chronograph function capable of measuring up to 12 hours.
This platinum-cased model is included in the Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis Lifetime Club Member Set. While adopting a design inspired by the Ref. 806/Mk5 favored by Miles Davis, it is equipped with the in-house hand-wound Cal. B09 movement, boasting modern specifications.

This model, featuring a platinum case, boasts a refreshing sunray-finished blue dial. Like the stainless steel and 18K yellow gold case models, it also features a reverse panda design. The outer edge incorporates the Navitimer's signature aviation slide rule, allowing users to perform various calculations necessary for aircraft operation by rotating the bezel and aligning the scale.
The screw-down case back is engraved to indicate that it is a limited edition of 50 sets worldwide, and the movement inside can be admired through the sapphire crystal. It is fitted with a blue calfskin leather strap that harmonizes with the dial, and features a folding buckle.
