Hirota: In my opinion, there are three factors to consider when buying a watch: whether it's good or bad, whether you like it or not, and whether it suits you or not. Few people go beyond the general idea of good or bad and choose based on whether they like it or not, and I don't think there are many people who can even judge whether it suits them or not.
Ishii: I do care about whether something suits me. Is it suitable for the purpose or occasion? Fashion-wise, do the colors of the watch and strap match my belt and shoes? But if the watch is too expensive, I can't think of an outfit that would go with it. I'm very conscious of that.
Hirota: He intentionally sets standards for himself and then has fun within them.
