Hirota: What do you think is the meaning of having a good watch, or even a watch that you like?

Nishiyama: I guess it's my own sense, or rather, my way of making a statement. Nowadays, we have cell phones, so there's no need to wear a watch. But if you ask why I still wear one, it's because it's an accessory-like element, and the type of watch I wear for a particular occasion conveys my feelings to the other person. That's my style, and that's where I make my statement.

Hirota: In other words, rather than trying to show off who I am, I show that I was able to create something in this way because of the situation.
