List Co., Ltd. was founded in 1991 after the collapse of the bubble economy as a real estate company with a strong community focus. Based on the philosophy of "providing a sense of excitement that goes beyond satisfaction to all communities and people involved," the company has actively contributed to the local community since its founding and aims to grow alongside the community. Currently, the company has expanded its business from real estate brokerage to include custom-built homes, condominiums, property management, asset solutions, and urban development, and is now expanding into global real estate. In 2010, the company acquired the exclusive operating rights for Sotheby's luxury real estate brokerage brand, "Sotheby's International Realty®," in Japan. In 2016, the company transitioned to holdings management and expanded into a comprehensive real estate company, offering real estate development, construction, sales, brokerage, asset/facility management, and securitization. The company is also actively expanding globally, including into Hawaii and Singapore.

Part 2: "A watch with asset value increases your own value"

Hirota: The asset value of watches has been attracting attention in Japan in recent years.

Kitami: I first felt this way about 10 years ago, when I bought the Japanese franchise for Sotheby's real estate division. From that time on, I began to think that it's good to own valuable things. This led to the realization that I needed to increase my own value. Since then, I've been choosing watches in this way.

Hirota: The value of a watch isn't something that can be measured simply by its price. It has intangible value, such as the impression it gives to the wearer and to others. It's a different kind of richness that can't be measured by money alone.

Kitami: Yes, it's a form of art. It's like wearable art.

Hirota: What's appealing about them is that they're not just for display, but also practical and can be worn every day to enjoy the benefits. What brand of watch did you get?
