The latest addition to this line is the "Project Z13," released in 2019. Its multi-layered face emphasizes three-dimensionality, featuring an off-center dial at 12 o'clock with radial openwork, a design characteristic of recent models. Directly below is a moon phase display and a retrograde date display that forms a dynamic 180-degree arc, creating yet another new configuration. Of particular note is the moon phase display, a first for the series. This time, the familiar shuriken motif from the first model in the series is reminiscent of the moon, but in an unusual design, it is a dodecagon rather than the usual circle. The disc carrying the moon moves beneath the moon cover, revealing the lunar phases. The four arms supporting the moon cover and the outer edge of the off-center dial are made of carbon fiber, a clever material choice not to be overlooked. The brand's signature color is used for the background of the moon phase, the retrograde date display, the hands, and the outer periphery. The beautiful blue color effect enhances the watch's distinctive character as a luxury sports watch, while also creating an active and youthful impression.
