When you think of Hollywood actor Harrison Ford's work, what comes to mind? His roles as Han Solo in Star Wars, Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Blade Runner, Jack Ryan, and many others spring to mind. Despite having many hits, he has stubbornly refused to take the director's chair, instead sticking to his acting career, even as many veterans in the industry have tried their hand at directing. In 2020, Call of the Wild, a film in which Harrison Ford embarks on a grand adventure with his dog, is scheduled for release, and he is scheduled to reprise his leading role in Indiana Jones 5 (working title) in 21.

This time, I would like to introduce a watch that reflects his recent appearances.

Aerospace

The photo was taken in 2016 at a restaurant in New York, USA, after a private lunch. Look at his wrist, you can see the Breitling Aerospace.

Breitling "Aerospace"

Aerospace

First released in 1994, this model features an enlarged LCD screen at the bottom, commonly known as the "Aerospace II." Reference E56062. Quartz (Cal. 56). Ti (40mm diameter). 100m water resistant. Reference product. (The photo shows a model from the early 90s.)

When the new Breitling was launched in 1979, its founder, Ernest Schneider, launched a series of collections in rapid succession, including the Navitimer and Chronomat, and the Aerospace, which incorporated the latest technology at the time. With a quartz movement and a digital-analog display, this watch remains a firm favorite with fans to this day.

When we checked with Breitling's PR department, they told us that, judging from the photo, the model he is wearing is likely a minute repeater model manufactured around 1996-97. As a pilot himself, he is also a long-time Aerospace fan.

Now 77 years old, he still has the maturity of his age, but his presence still matches his dignified appearance perfectly. I hope he continues to show us how he ages gracefully.
