In 2020, NORQAIN announced a strategic partnership with the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA). To commemorate this collaboration with the sport, NORQAIN released a limited edition Adventure Sports Chrono timepiece, incorporating elements of the thrilling sport of ice hockey.

NORQAIN has strong ties to ice hockey
Since 2020, NORQAIN has partnered with the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA), which oversees the National Hockey League (NHL), a professional hockey league in the United States and Canada. To commemorate this collaboration, the company has now announced the "Adventure Sports Chrono NHLPA."
NORQAIN has always been a watchmaker with deep ties to hockey, thanks in large part to the presence of NORQAIN executive Mark Streit, a former NHL player and Swiss hockey legend known for his impressive achievements, including winning the Stanley Cup in 2017.
Along with Streit, another person who made a major contribution to the partnership between NORQANE and the NHLPA was Roman Josi, an ice hockey player from Bern, Switzerland.

Josi, a three-time NHL All-Star and former James Norris Memorial Trophy winner, captained the Nashville Predators, and NORQAIN has released a signature model for him under the Adventure Sports Auto brand.
The excitement of sports on your wrist

This collaboration model features all the hallmarks of the sporty collection, including a knurled bezel and a high-precision chronograph. The registers at 3 and 6 o'clock are painted blue to match the blue aluminum bezel ring. The 12-hour register at 6 o'clock also features a white NHLPA logo.
The small seconds hand at 9 o'clock is designed to resemble the face-off circle on an ice rink. Further cementing the connection to hockey is the pattern on the white dial, which resembles the marks that appear on the ice rink after a game. Achieving this unique finish requires 30 manufacturing steps, many of which are done by hand, and requires the utmost craftsmanship.
The caliber NN18, based on the ETA7753, can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back, which bears the NHLPA logo.

This special timepiece, presented on a blue rubber strap, is limited to 500 pieces. Its case diameter is 41mm, measuring 48.9mm lug-to-lug. And good news for NORQAIN and hockey fans: when you purchase this watch, you'll receive a special, exclusive puck (a rubber hockey puck) that's not available anywhere else.
NORQAIN shares its adventurous spirit and dynamic approach with elite athletes, further solidifying its involvement in the equally dynamic sport of ice hockey, which demands precision, control and a sense of adventure.
