Concordia, a new product from Charlie Paris, an emerging Paris-based brand

The new Paris-based watch brand, Charlie Paris, has announced the release of its new Concordia watch. This model features a 40mm stainless steel case with a blue dial, is water resistant to 300m, and is equipped with the automatic caliber STP1-11 with a power reserve of approximately 44 hours.

　Charlie Paris is a young brand founded in Paris, France in 2014. The watches are designed and assembled in a workshop near Besançon.

　This time, a sporty new model has been added to the brand's core collection, "Concordia." Until now, the Concordia has been available in both quartz and automatic models. The new model features an automatic movement manufactured by Swiss Technology Production (STP). The 44mm stainless steel case, which is antimagnetic in accordance with ISO 764, features satin and polished finishes.

　It has a screw-down crown, is water resistant to 300m, and features a unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminum insert.

　The Concordia's hour and minute hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, and the second hand, like other diving watches, is also coated with Super-LumiNova, a crucial indicator of the watch's functionality in the dark. Protecting these displays is a domed sapphire crystal.

　The case back is screwed down, and inside the case is the automatic caliber STP1-11 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. The strap is made of canvas that matches the color of the dial. A two-year warranty is also included.

　For this launch, Charlie Paris teamed up with Mathieu Trudeur, who completed a solo ski crossing of nearly 1150 km across Antarctica. Born in Normandy, France, Trudeur was the first Frenchman and the youngest person to complete the journey from Antarctica (Hercules Bay) to the South Pole on skis. This unique crossing took 51 days and was carried out in extreme conditions, with temperatures reaching minus 37°C. During the expedition, Trudeur wore Concordia skis, which have proven their quality to the fullest.
