The Admiral Collection has announced the launch of the Admiral 45 Automatic Openwork Flying Tourbillon & Carbon, a symbolic addition to the collection. Inspired by the legendary Admiral's Cup yacht race, the Admiral collection has been a core part of Corum's history. The collection's design code, featuring a distinctive 12-sided bezel and nautical pennants used for ship-to-ship communication as hour markers, has expanded with the incorporation of motifs evocative of the ocean and ships. This model's large 45mm case is crafted from ultra-light carbon, a material with exceptional strength, a first for the brand. The carbon material is infused with 18K rose gold powder, adding a metallic sheen that varies from piece to piece. The automatic movement, Cal. CO298, features the signature flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, and a three-minute counter at 9 o'clock. The flying tourbillon is openworked and can be viewed from both the dial side and the case back, allowing visitors to see the movement of each component of this complex mechanism in detail. This model is paired with a bi-material strap, with synthetic fiber on the front and rubber on the back. This strap is designed to fit seamlessly with the lugs, minimizing any gaps between the watch and the wrist for a comfortable fit.

A new standard model has been added to the Admiral 42 Automatic, with two variations. This model features a blue dial with a sunray finish, highlighting the colorful indexes modeled after nautical pennants used for ship-to-ship communications, one of Admiral's design codes. As with previous models, the case is made of stainless steel, and it is available in either a bracelet model or a blue rubber bracelet model. The bezel and bracelet are finished in two different finishes, polished and hairline, creating a three-dimensional design.
