Montblanc 1858 Split-Second Chronograph Limited Edition 18

　The Montblanc 1858 Split-Seconds Chronograph Limited Edition 18 features a lime gold case that ages to a pale yellowish-green. The dial, matching the case color, is finished in a sunburst gold finish. The dial, inspired by military chronographs from the 1930s, features a central spiral tachymeter scale measuring up to three minutes, and a telemeter scale on the inner flange. The telemeter scale is used to measure distance by measuring the difference in the time it takes for light and sound to travel. The manual-winding chronograph movement, Caliber MB M16.31, features a chronograph start/reset function on the crown and a pusher for the split-seconds function at 2 o'clock. The movement's many highlights, including two column wheels for each function, a gold-plated plate and bridge, and a large balance with 18 regulating screws, can be viewed through the transparent case back. This work will be sold in a limited edition of 18 bottles worldwide.

Montblanc 1858 Monopusher Chronograph Origins Limited Edition 100

　Montblanc has announced the Montblanc 1858 Monopusher Chronograph Origins Limited Edition 100, a reissue of the masterpiece that inspired the entire Montblanc 1858 collection. The original model is a Minerva military monopusher chronograph featuring the Caliber 19-09CH, released in the 1930s. Featuring a particularly large 46mm case for its time, the dial and case design are extremely modern. Montblanc has named this watch "Origins," and it continues to have a significant influence on Montblanc watchmaking to this day. This new model features a 46mm case shaped like the Origins, but in a new bronze that ages over time. It is powered by the Caliber MB M16.29, a manual-wound monopusher chronograph. Despite the large case size, the Caliber MB M16.29 movement measures 38.4mm, allowing the bicompax counters to be positioned appropriately on the dial. In addition, the cathedral-shaped hands and Arabic numeral indexes coated with beige Super-LumiNova are accompanied by a railway minute track, fully expressing the charm of Origins. The case back is an "officer's" case back with a pocket watch-like hinge at the 12 o'clock position. The outside is engraved with an image of the goddess Minerva, and the inside is engraved with words paying homage to Origins. This model will be sold in a limited edition of 100 pieces worldwide.

Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858

　In 2004, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858 was added to the collection, paying tribute to Reinhold Messner's 2000-kilometer solo trek across the Gobi Desert. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere features rotating domes for the northern and southern hemispheres at 6 and 12 o'clock, allowing the wearer to read multiple time zones. This model features a microblasted bronze case evoking the texture of fine sand, paired with a brown and beige gradient lacquer dial. The highlight of this model is the case back, crafted from bronze-coated titanium. The case back serves as a canvas for a unique engraving of the Gobi Desert's famous "Flaming Cliffs," using laser irradiation to create a unique range of matte and glossy textures and even colors. The resulting finish exudes photographic depth and realism. This work is limited to 1858 pieces worldwide, in keeping with the collection's name.
