Baume & Mercier "Baume Skate Special Edition"

　Baume & Mercier has announced the "Baume Skate Special Edition," a collaboration with Aurélien Giroud, a world-renowned French skateboarder who competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The case is made by cutting out a skate deck (board) that Aurélien used or made as a spare, and treating it with water-based resin to ensure airtightness. The movement is housed in a blue anodized aluminum container to ensure its strength.

　The dial features a blue skeletonized minute hand and a rotating disc that serves as the hour hand. The disc is covered in grip tape, a material essential for skateboarding tricks, and the "BAUME" logo indicates the hours.

　The color scheme is based on black, incorporating Aurélien's favorite colors, red and blue, and the addition of white creates a color scheme reminiscent of the French flag.

Baume & Mercier "Riviera Green"

　The Riviera collection, revamped in 2021, has added a green model, symbolizing hope and love of nature.

　The first model is a 36mm case diameter model, sized to suit both men and women. The dial features a bright, airy green color and features the wave decoration that is characteristic of the current Riviera collection. The rubber strap comes in a pastel green color. The movement is Swiss-made, featuring a new generation quartz movement with a battery life of approximately 10 years. The watch is water resistant to 50m.

　The second model has a case diameter of 42mm. The dial features a brighter, deeper green, creating a strong contrast between the indexes and hands, giving the model a sporty impression. The rubber strap is also a deep green that matches the dial color, creating a unified design. The movement is an automatic SW200 with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The 42mm model is water resistant to 100m, making it even more practical.

　Both models feature the Fast Strap Interchangeable System, which allows you to swap between straps and bracelets without the need for special tools. Choose from a wide range of rubber strap colors to match your outfit of the day.

Riviera

The Riviera collection has been revamped and reintroduced as Baume & Mercier's flagship collection. First released in 1973, the Riviera has offered a variety of styles while retaining its distinctive 12-sided bezel. This new model is by no means a revival of a previous model; rather, it inherits the Riviera's distinctive features while evolving to suit the modern era. The new model's exterior features include a 12-sided bezel and case, with the case sides smoothly transitioning to the bracelet, reminiscent of the 1970s, four screws securing the bezel, and Roman numerals only at 6 and 12 o'clock.

There are four main types available: a 42mm model with the automatic Caliber Baumatic BM13-1975A, a 42mm model with the automatic Caliber SW200, a 36mm model with the Caliber SW200, and a 36mm model with a quartz movement.

The 42mm models are relatively thin, measuring just 10.66mm thick, while still offering water resistance to 100m. The Caliber BM13-1975A offers a power reserve of approximately 120 hours, magnetic resistance to 1500 gauss, and a publicly announced five-year maintenance cycle, making them highly practical. Models equipped with the Caliber BM13-1975A feature a special translucent dial, allowing the movement to be viewed in action. The 36mm models, even those equipped with the thicker SW200 movement, have a case thickness of just 9.57mm. However, they are water resistant to 50m. All models are interchangeable, allowing the included rubber strap and bracelet to be easily swapped out.

Classima

Baume & Mercier's classic round watch collection, the Classima, has been expanded with new variations of automatic and quartz models. The automatic models now come in a stainless steel case with a gray dial, as well as a model that combines an 18K gold and titanium case.

Both models are available in 42mm and 31mm diameters. The quartz model features a green dial, the 42mm model has a slightly darker sunray satin finish, and the 31mm model is gorgeously finished in light green.
