Big Crown Pointer Date Caliber 403

Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Caliber 403
Automatic movement (Cal. Oris 403). 24 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 5 days. Stainless steel (diameter 38mm). Water resistant to 5 bar. Price: 429,000 yen (tax included).

This new model is part of Oris' long-selling Big Crown Pointer Date collection. Its movement is the Caliber 403, based on the company's in-house Caliber 400, and equipped with a small second and pointer date. The cobra hands commonly used in the collection have been replaced with pencil hands, and the Arabic numerals on the indexes are now smaller and rounder. These changes give the watch a modern look that is hard to believe originated from a classic military watch. The case measures 38mm in diameter, making it compact despite the large movement.

Oris Divers Sixty-Five
Automatic (Cal. 733/SW200-1 base). 26 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 40mm). Water resistant to 100m. Price: 231,000 yen (tax included).

The Divers Sixty-Five pays homage to Oris' first diver's watch, which was released in 1965. This collection, popular for its retro design, now features a new gray gradient dial. The Super-LumiNova applied to the hands and indexes is turquoise blue, which contrasts strikingly with the gray dial. This choice was made to ensure that the watch shines brightly even in dark places such as underwater. The domed crystal, which enhances the retro impression, is made of sapphire crystal. The watch is based on the company's Aquis diver's watch. This model features a blue-and-gray gradient dial evoking the richness of the ocean. It also features a Pointer Moon function, which uses a fourth hand on the dial to display the tide levels and the phases of the moon, bringing the mysteries of nature right to your wrist.
