A new limited edition model of Greubel Forsey's GMT Sport has been released. The GMT Sport is a complex watch featuring a high-speed tourbillon that rotates once every 24 seconds, a power reserve indicator, a three-dimensional world time globe, and a second time zone display, all displayed in three dimensions on the dial. This latest model is a first for the brand, as the movement's baseplate, globe, second time zone dial, and the high-speed tourbillon's 24-second counter ring all feature the same shade of blue.
Previous GMT Sports models had an engraving representing the Maison's values engraved on the side of the bezel, but this model has no engraving and is polished all over, resulting in a clean design. In addition to a rubber strap, a bracelet designed exclusively for this model that can be adjusted in millimeter increments is also available. This is the first time in the brand's history that the company has released a bracelet model, a notable event.
Both the case and bracelet are made of lightweight and robust grade 5 titanium, and are hand-polished in a style that is characteristic of Greubel Forsey, using a variety of finishes including hairline, grenade, and polished finishes.
