We will also be releasing a video comparing the old and new versions with the previous Lange 1 soon, so please enjoy that as well.
Introduction model overview

Manual winding (Cal. L121.1). 43 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 72 hours. 18KWG (diameter 38.5mm, thickness 9.8mm). Water resistant to 3 bar. Price: 5,602,300 yen (tax included).
Since its introduction in 1994, this model has remained a beloved representative of A. Lange & Söhne's collection. The asymmetrical dial layout and oversized date display were so well-made that they didn't require any modifications, even in the first model, and so the design has remained fundamentally unchanged to this day. Of course, the movement has undergone minor updates, such as changing from a swan-neck regulator to a free-sprung one.
