The 870 Mechanical and 830 Mechanical models are equipped with the Caliber 0950, while the 831 Mechanical uses the Caliber 9051, both of which meet JIS Class 2 magnetic resistance standards. This ability to maintain a consistent level of accuracy even when exposed to a magnetic field of 16,000 A/m up to 1 cm away is one of the most important features for modern people, who are constantly surrounded by magnetism.
