Uses an annual calendar movement made by Dubois-Dépraz

When talking about Pierre Deroche, it is necessary to understand the history of Dubois-Dépraz. Dubois-Dépraz is a watch manufacturer founded in 1901 by Marcel Dépraz in Le Rue, Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. It specialized in modifying ETA 28 watches and made a name for itself by manufacturing modules for complicated watches, including chronographs. Pierre Deroche was founded in 2004 by Pierre Dubois, the second son of Gérard Dupois, the company's current chairman.
The design styles range from classic colors to sporty styles. However, as can be seen from the fact that they are basically equipped with Dubois-Dépraz movements, they all have in common the fact that they are equipped with original functions. For example, one of the company's signature models, the TNT Royal Retro, is equipped with six retrograde second hands, each of which measures 60 seconds in a relay system. All of the movements supplied by Dubois-Dépraz are designed exclusively for Pierre Deroche.
One of Pierre Deroche's core collections is the Grand Cliff. Based on a clean, refined round case, the collection is designed to accommodate a variety of complications. The Grand Cliff Annual Calendar was added to the Grand Cliff collection in 2022. This model features an annual calendar and a refined appearance perfect for everyday use. Crafted from 41mm stainless steel with a polished and satin finish, it comes in one model for men and one for women. The automatic movement can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back.

Carole Dubois, co-founder and current CEO of Pierre Deroche, said, "When I was a child, my grandfather taught me how to remember the full and short months of the year by looking at the peaks and valleys of my fist. It was from this simple answer to this complex question that the idea of completing the collection with the Grand Cliff Annual Calendar was born."
Considered a practical and useful complication, the annual calendar is a true emblem of sophistication in the watch industry, bringing simple magic to everyday life.
A typical calendar with a date display needs to be corrected five times a year for months with less than 31 days, whereas a more sophisticated annual calendar only needs to be corrected once a year, when March 1st rolls around.

The automatic caliber 6501, manufactured by Dubois-Dépraz, is naturally featured. The date display is located at 3 o'clock, and the month display at 7:30. The month display is cut out of the dial, as indicated by the red color of the calendar disc. The date display can be fast-forwarded using the crown, and the month display can be fast-forwarded by the collector. The movement's 32mm diameter allows for a large, highly visible display ideally positioned on the dial.
The new case, with a screw-down crown and water resistance to 50m, continues the collection's design codes of rounded shape and distinctive lugs, and is paired with a Cordura-look leather strap with a folding buckle in the same color as the dial.
