Omega's special watch, the Ultra Deep, reached the greatest depth in history during an exploration project in 2019. A new model has been released that inherits the basic design but features a completely revamped case size.
This Grade 5 titanium model is heavily influenced by the design of the original Ultra Deep, which holds the record for deepest dive. The lugs, known as "Manta lugs," feature an inward-bending design that's unique to this model. Comes with a polyamide NATO strap. Automatic winding (Cal. 8912). 39 jewels. 25,200 vph. The new Ultra Deep breaks the barrier of professional specs

Five Deeps is a manned exploration project that was launched in 2019 as the brainchild of submersible pilot and adventurer Victor Vescovo, attempting to reach the deepest depths of all five oceans. The Mariana Trench attack reached a depth of 10,935m, vastly breaking the previous record for the deepest depth reached.
At the time, the submersible's robotic arm was fitted with a Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional, manufactured by Omega. Three years later, Omega has remade this special watch. Utilizing a special design that was conceived with the aim of reaching maximum depths in mind, the watch now features a 45.5mm case diameter that fits comfortably on a human wrist, water resistance to 6000m, and is suitable for completely new saturation diving environments.
The most professional-looking feature of the new Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep is its NATO strap with a grade 5 titanium case. The so-called "manta lugs," exclusive to this model, replace the traditional spring bars or fixed bars and are shaped to extend the tips of the lugs. The notch in the center of the manta lugs is a consideration for effectively releasing water pressure at great depths.
The new Ultra Deep does not have an escape valve, but the conical sapphire crystal crystal inherited from the original Ultra Deep is used to counter internal pressure caused by the expansion of helium. By significantly increasing the strength of the crystal crystal, it is designed to withstand both external and internal pressure. Meanwhile, the bracelet model's case is made of proprietary O-MEGA steel, but the medallion on the case back, which comes into direct contact with the skin, is made of grade 5 titanium.
