Introducing a cute figurine of independent watchmaker François-Paul Journe! A rare item that sold out immediately

In early 2022, American streetwear brand BAIT produced a T-shirt featuring François-Paul Journe. In the summer of the same year, BAIT's toy brand Cokies released a figurine of François-Paul Journe, the independent watchmaker and founder of FP Journe. The figurine, limited to 300 sets, has already sold out and become a collector's item.

　François-Paul Journe is one of the leading independent watchmakers of our time. Over the past 20 years, the watches produced by his watch brand, FP Journe, have established a special status, fetching high prices at auction. Their popularity is so high that waiting lists for current models are getting longer and longer. Following in the footsteps of renowned watchmaker Philippe Dufour, they are frequently featured in watch industry magazines, and their unique character is also gaining popularity.

　François-Paul Journe has now been made into a figurine. It was produced by Cokies, a toy brand developed by the American streetwear brand Bait. Two figurines have been released, one depicting François-Paul Journe in his younger days and the other in the present. This is the result of an official collaboration between Bait and FP Journe.

　The adorable, two-dimensional figure is dressed in the blue work clothes that François-Paul Journe always wears in his workshop in Geneva. BAIT has also recreated nine of FP Journe's most popular models for the figure.

　These miniature watches are, of course, sized to fit the actual figures, and while they may be small, the dials are faithfully reproduced.

　This figure was released in a limited edition of 300 sets, priced at $500 (approximately 67,000 yen), and quickly sold out. Due to the small number of sets, it has already become a collector's item. According to FP Journe, "there are no plans to sell additional sets in the future."
