A summary of Cartier's new watches for 2023

Cartier has a wide range of new products in store for 2023. Combining the rich decorative qualities of a jewelry brand with the high development capabilities of a watch brand, Cartier's new products are full of creativity. CRASH [UN]LIMITED

　This jewelry watch incorporates elements of Cartier's jewelry collection, "Crash de Cartier." It inherits characteristics such as beads, picot, cloisonné, and mobility, and combines opposing elements such as delicacy and strength, and density and sparseness of space.

　The watch features a square dial that harmonizes with the geometric motif, and the sapphire crystal has 16 facets.

　What makes this piece so appealing is its color contrast. The beads, the collar, and other parts are made of violet gold, a color developed exclusively for the company.

　There are five variations available, including a colorful model that uses diamonds, spinel, tsavorite, coral, and chrysoprase, as well as a cool model that uses diamonds, spinel, and obsidian.

サントス デュモン

The new additions to the Santos-Dumont line include three XL-sized models with hand-wound movements and two LM-sized models with quartz movements.

　The models equipped with manual winding movements will be sold in limited quantities of 200 pieces each, and are characterized by Roman numerals made from cut hard stones.

　The platinum model features red jasper hour markers, the 18K yellow gold model features blue dumortierite hour markers, and the 18K pink gold model features green jade hour markers. Each model features a crown set with a cabochon that matches the color of the hour markers, and the alligator strap is a matching color.

　Both models are equipped with quartz movements and feature gold-colored Roman numerals. The gray dial model is paired with an 18K yellow gold and stainless steel combination case, while the deep marine blue dial model is fitted with an 18K yellow gold case.

Santos de Cartier

A new model with a deep green dial has been added to the Santos de Cartier collection. It is available in two sizes, MM and LM, and both are equipped with the automatic mechanical movement Cal. 1847MC.

　The dial has a gradation that changes appearance depending on the amount of light it receives, and the crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel, adding an accent.

　The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet with a "Smart Link" that allows for easy size adjustment, as well as a green alligator strap. Both straps are equipped with a "Quick Switch" that allows them to be easily detached from the case, allowing you to freely change them to suit your preference.

　In addition, a MM size model has been added to the already available navy blue dial, giving customers a wider range of options to choose their favorite model.

Santos-Dumont Skeleton Watch

　The Santos-Dumont, which was released in 2019, inherits the design of the original model from 1904. This year, a skeleton watch based on the Santos-Dumont has been released.

　The movement used is the specially developed Cal. 9629MC. While at first glance it appears to be a manual winding movement, it is actually an automatic movement with a micro-rotor, and the aircraft seen at 8 o'clock serves as the rotor. This is based on the motif of La Demoiselle, an early airplane designed by Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1907. The development of this micro-rotor took approximately two years.

　There are three variations available: an 18K pink gold case model and a stainless steel case model, which are the regular lineup, and an 18K yellow gold model with navy lacquer finish, which will be limited to 150 pieces worldwide.
