Watchmakers from around the world unveiled their new products at Watches & Wonders 2023. This project asked watch experts to review the top five watches unveiled at the event. RY, who runs the popular YouTube channel "Life with Watches," selected five watches he truly wanted, including the IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 and Chopard LUC 1860.
1nd Place: IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40
The new Ingenieur revives the historical legacy of Gerald Genta design. There must be many watch enthusiasts (I am one of them) who are delighted by the revival of Genta design.
In addition to being magnetically resistant, it also boasts high specs such as water resistance to 10 bar and a power reserve of approximately 120 hours, all housed in a stylish case just 10mm thick. This makes it one of the most versatile watches in the watch industry.

2th place: Chopard "LUC 1860"

A small dress watch with a salmon-colored dial is something I long for.
What's more, it's made of Lucent Steel, a steel developed by the company, and is equipped with a beautiful micro-rotor caliber that has been certified by COSC and the Hallmark of Geneva, a gold guilloched dial, and is compact, measuring just 36.5mm in diameter and 8.2mm thick. It's a watch that seems flawless in every way.
3rd Place: Parmigiani Fleurier "Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante"
Following on from last year, this year too they impressed with their new use of the rattrapante.
I love the rotating bezel function of diver's watches, and this watch is also equipped with a similarly complex mechanism, a world first. However, its simple and cool appearance makes it seem like a complicated mechanism, which is quite impressive. This is the ultimate self-indulgent watch, not for showing off to others, but for your own enjoyment.
