A summary of Van Cleef & Arpels' new watches for 2023

Here is a roundup of the new Van Cleef & Arpels watches unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2023. The new products, including the popular Perlée collection, are not limited to watches, but also include bracelets and necklaces, showcasing the jeweler's unconventional approach.

Perle

　Five new models have been added to the Perrelet collection. They feature round cases and a lugless silhouette. Each model features a mother-of-pearl or rose gold dial, framed by two rows of gold beads.

　The 30mm model features an 18K rose gold case with a white mother-of-pearl dial, while the 23mm model features a rose gold case with a white mother-of-pearl dial and is available with either a leather strap or a mesh bracelet.

　Other models available include a rose gold dial and a diamond-studded white gold model, both of which are equipped with quartz movements.

　Six "Perlée Secret Watch" models have also been added. The Perlée Secret Watch is a pendant-style collection that can be worn as a pendant on a long necklace. Three of the watches are designed with a traditional jewelry watch approach, featuring rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, respectively.

　The remaining three pieces focus on materials that are rarely used in the world of jewelry, incorporating them as voluminous cabochons. The materials are chalcedony, rose quartz, and sodalite. Chalcedony, which ranges in color from blue-gray to light blue, is characterized by its regular stripes and translucent texture.

　The rose quartz watch is a first for the collection, and is paired with a rose gold case that matches the pastel color. The sodalite watch features irregular bright streaks rising from a translucent blue base with a purple tinge. Both watches are equipped with quartz movements.
