RY, who runs the popular YouTube channel "Life with Watches Channel," said that the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph is the new watch model that caught his eye the most among the new models released in 2023. This chronograph watch makes use of the Reverso's reversible dial function, and he praised it for its incredible packaging.

The Reverso Tribute Chronograph has two faces: dressy and sporty.

　Many companies are releasing attractive new watches in 2023, but the one that caught my eye the most was Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso Tribute Chronograph, especially the 18K pink gold model.

　I am fascinated by the Reverso's innovative idea of ​​inverting the dial, its rich history, and its rectangular case that exudes intelligence and elegance, and the Reverso has long been on my wish list.

　Normally, I find it difficult to wear an 18K pink gold case (I think it stands out too much), but I feel that it matches the atmosphere of the Reverso perfectly. In particular, the combination of the black dial and 18K pink gold gives off a chic and sophisticated adult vibe.

　I'm still a long way from that, but with the idea that I want to become that kind of adult someday, I was particularly interested in the 18K pink gold model of the Reverso Classic Duo Small Seconds from the current lineup of models.

It was against this background that this latest model was released. I was thrilled to discover that it was the Reverso with a black dial and 18K pink gold case that I had been looking for, and that by flipping the dial over, it would reveal a chronograph.

The dial flip function was originally designed to protect the crystal during polo matches, but I think that today many people enjoy it according to the occasion. In that respect, this model, with its classic and dressy "Tribute" face on the front and its sporty and mechanical chronograph on the back, is probably the Reverso that can be enjoyed in the widest range of occasions out of all the Reversos.

　It has the versatility to be suitable for anything, from parties to driving, and I personally think it would even be worth recommending as the next James Bond watch (although I think it would probably be ruled out due to water resistance).

　The size is 49.4mm x 29.9mm, with a thickness of 11.14mm. This is the same size as the Reverso Tribute Duo Calendar (49.4mm x 29.9mm, 10.9mm thick) that the company released last year, but it is only 0.24mm thicker. For me, whose wrist circumference is relatively small at 15.5cm, the lug length of 49.4mm is just within the range that fits within my wrist width, and honestly, a thickness of around 11mm feels a little thick for a Reverso.

　However, considering that it is equipped with a complex chronograph mechanism and has two dials, it has excellent styling and even seems to be an incredible package.

　The dial on the back, which is meticulously skeletonized, allows you to see the new in-house movement, Caliber 860. By pressing the push button on the crown side, you can enjoy the movement of the column wheel equipped with a horizontal clutch, which was adopted to reduce the thickness. Also, it is not to be missed that the 30-minute counter is retrograde and fits into the rectangular shape.

Who would have thought that you could see the movement (and the chronograph) in a regular Reverso? I'm very pleased that a skeleton dial has been adopted.

　The prices are certainly quite high, at 5,632,000 yen for the 18K pink gold model and 3,212,000 yen for the stainless steel model, but they are within a reasonable range when you consider the level of engineering and elegant styling that goes into these watches.

　The problem is, the desire to own a Reverso can only be satisfied by buying a Reverso, never by any other watch, and that's how unique the Reverso is, especially this skeletonized chronograph model.
