Tissot will serve as the official timekeeper for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, which will be held in Okinawa (Japan), Manila (Philippines), and Jakarta (Indonesia) from Friday, August 25. To commemorate the tournament, Tissot has released a special set that includes the modern and masculine sports watch, the Tissot Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition, and a strap with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 engraving and limited-edition stitching.

Tissot first partnered with FIBA in 2008 and then with the NBA in 2015. Currently, as the official timekeeper for each organization, Tissot has become a familiar presence at game venues. Not only does it accurately time every second of every game, but it also has top NBA players, including Tony Parker, Klay Thompson, and Damian Lillard, as brand ambassadors.

　To coincide with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, a special set has been released that includes the Tissot Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition, a strap with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 engraving and limited-edition stitching, and a box sleeve.

The strap features corner stitching in blue, red, orange, and yellow, a nod to the main colors of the World Cup. The tournament logo is embossed in the same black as the strap, further enhancing the elegance of this model. This special edition strap can be perfectly adapted to any timepiece with a lug width of 22mm thanks to Tissot's interchangeable bracelets.

Modern and dynamic style

The Tissot Super Sport Chrono Basketball Edition is a high-performance sports watch with 100m water resistance and a 1/10-second chronograph with accumulator and split-second functions. Not only is it functional, but its attractive design allows it to be worn seamlessly day or night, making it a versatile piece that complements any style. Its 45.5mm black PVD-coated stainless steel case, crown, and pushers, along with its gradient black dial featuring an original basketball net pattern that stylishly fades out toward the center, create an urban atmosphere.

　The watch features three subdials: two for the 1/10th of a second and 30-minute counters, and a third for the running seconds. The chronograph hands, including the central chronograph seconds hand, are a sporty orange color, reminiscent of basketball. The hour, minute, and 12-hour markers are finished in bright white Super-LumiNova® for enhanced legibility. The date display and tachymeter on the bezel are also unified in black and white for ease of use. Furthermore, the watch is powered by a precision Swiss-made quartz movement with a low-battery notification function.
