Panerai finally launches Navy SEALs-inspired collection globally

Panerai has announced three watches inspired by the US Navy SEALs from its Luminor collection and two from its Submersible collection. All models will be available exclusively in its boutiques.

　With a history closely linked to the history of the Italian Navy, Panerai has established itself over the years by creating watches that embody the ideals of challenge, courage, team spirit and adrenaline – values ​​also shared by the Navy SEALs, a modern-day group of heroes of extraordinary training and remarkable exploits in the world of sea.

　The collaboration between Panerai and the Navy SEALs has resulted in a collection of watches that embodies the indomitable spirit of the Navy SEALs. Each model is a sports watch developed with this elite unit in mind, and will appeal to professional divers, daring adventurers, and mechanical watch enthusiasts alike. The Navy SEALs collection, which was first released as a US-exclusive product last year, has now been expanded globally with the addition of new models.

　Each new collection will be presented with a new Panerai box, designed with a convenient drawer to hold the booklet, guarantee card, second strap and replacement tool. The central section where the watch is placed can be removed and used as a travel pouch, ensuring your watch is protected and safe, something that is especially useful for frequent travelers.

"Luminor Marina Navy SEALs"

　The Luminor Marina Navy Seals (PAM01412) features a 44mm Brunito Steel case and is a limited edition reproduction available only in the US. The Brunito Steel case is coated with a PVD coating to create a protective film, and each watch is then hand-applied with a vintage finish to enhance the patina of aging. This treatment results in an individual appearance, with no two watches being the same.

　This watch features an anthracite dial engraved with the words "NAVY SEALS," and the Navy SEALs emblem is engraved on the case back. The rubber strap is made of high-quality rubber and is highly resistant to oil, abrasion, and corrosion. A bi-material strap is also included as a spare. The movement is the automatic Cal. P. 9010, which has a power reserve of approximately three days. Only 862 pieces will be available in boutiques.

"Luminor Chrono Navy SEALs" and "Luminor Chrono Carbotech™ Navy SEALs"

　The Navy SEALs chronograph is available in two 44mm sizes: the Luminor Chrono Navy SEALs (PAM01409) in a Brunito steel case, and the Luminor Chrono Carbotech™ Navy SEALs (PAM01419) in a Carbotech™ case. Panerai's patented Carbotech construction is designed to enhance both beauty and durability.

　To form Carbotech™ plates, thin sheets of carbon fiber are compressed under high pressure at controlled temperatures with the polymer PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), bonding the composite together. This increases strength and durability. To maintain a uniform aesthetic, extra-long carbon fibers are used, and the sheets are stacked and compressed so that the fibers in each layer are at different angles above and below.

　Each model features a shaded anthracite dial inspired by targeting scopes and engraved with the words "NAVY SEALS." It also features a small seconds and a yachting-style tachymeter scale for measuring average sailing speed. It also features a rubber-coated crown, a caseback engraved with the elite unit's crest, and, like the PAM01412, a rubber strap and a bi-material spare strap.

　Both models are equipped with the automatic chronograph movement, Cal. P.9200, with the Luminor Chrono Navy SEALs limited to 562 pieces and the Luminor Chrono Carbotech™ Navy SEALs limited to 462 pieces.

"Submersible Bitempo Navy Seals"

　The Submersible collection introduces the Submersible Bitempo Navy Seals (PAM01323). The movement is the Cal. P.900 / GMT, with two barrels providing a power reserve of approximately three days. The dial is anthracite with a gradient that darkens from the center to the periphery, and features hour, minute, and GMT hands in the center, a small second at 9 o'clock, and a date at 3 o'clock.

　The hands and date window numerals are accented with a golden yellow accent color, creating a beautiful contrast with the dial and hour markers while ensuring high visibility. The 44mm stainless steel case features a Navy SEALs emblem engraved on the case back and a black rubber-coated crown. The watch comes with a black rubber strap and a spare bi-material black and gray camouflage strap inspired by Navy uniforms, as well as a tool for easily changing the strap.

"Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Experience Edition"

　For those seeking a more thrilling experience, the Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Experience Edition (PAM01402) has been announced, featuring a 47mm Brunito steel case, a ceramic bezel, and a rubber-coated crown.

　The dial is anthracite gradient, and features the "NAVY SEALS" engraving and a small seconds hand inspired by a target scope. It also features a flyback chronograph function and a "Time to Target" function that can count down to a set time of up to 30 minutes.

　The case back is engraved with the emblem of the elite unit, and the strap is made of military green rubber, with a second strap made of Velcro inspired by the uniform. This model is equipped with the Caliber P.9100/R with a power reserve of approximately three days and is limited to 50 pieces.

　Owners of the Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Experience Edition will undergo a series of tactical exercises, encouraging participants to push themselves to the limits both physically and mentally. Each participant in this special mission experience will receive an NFT, which will contain information to support the owner's experience, such as a specific training card, technical information about the watch, a warranty card, and digital artwork created by the Panerai Studio.
