Jean Rousseau, a French luxury leather goods manufacturer, has begun selling and accepting custom orders for its "Adventure" collection, which features elegant and adventurous styles.

The new Jean Rousseau Adventure collection offers straps and leather goods that exude an elegant yet adventurous style, using original materials such as waterproof alligator and recycled Seaqual®.

Water-repellent nubuck alligator strap

　Jean Rousseau has successfully developed a highly water-repellent leather. The leather is treated and soaked in a highly water-repellent agent, which penetrates and sets deep inside. This process is then repeated, followed by drying, to achieve an unprecedented level of water repellency.

Water-resistant alligator strap

　The Atlantis uses a core material and stitching that significantly improves the water-repellent, quick-drying, and durability of water-repellent leather. It also has features such as no fading or color transfer, and is resistant to deformations such as warping and shrinkage.

Strap made of Sequal® material

　Seaqual® is a material made from recycled marine plastic, a major cause of marine pollution, and used in textiles and apparel. Its lightweight, wear-resistant properties make it suitable for outdoor and military use. Jean Rousseau uses two types of material: fabric and textured rubber.
