A new work that combines the strength of the hero Perseus with the mysticism of the Aurora

Orient Star has restructured its collection, introducing the new "M Collections." This collection is based on themes such as nebulae and star clusters familiar to Japanese people as well as Greek mythology, such as M45, M34, and M42, and is positioned as a higher-end line than the other collections. It was launched by consolidating some of the models from the previous "Classic," "Contemporary," and "Sports" collections, and four new models have now been added to the M34 line.

This model features a blue-green gradient dial that radiates an aurora-like glow. The sharply shaped lugs evoke the strength of Perseus, the hero of Greek mythology. Automatic movement (Cal. F7F44). 24 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 40mm, thickness 13mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Price: 143,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled for release on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

M34 is an abbreviation for the star cluster in the constellation Perseus. As if bearing the name of a hero from Greek mythology, the M34 lineup includes models that exude strength, such as sharp lugs, Roman numerals at 12 o'clock, and straight, pencil-shaped hands. The latest addition is the "M34 F7 Semi-Skeleton." It features Orient Star's signature power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, a small second at 6 o'clock, and an open heart at 9 o'clock, revealing the oscillating balance wheel.

The theme of this model is the aurora, a luminous phenomenon observed in the northern and southern polar regions. To express its mysterious glow, the dial is vividly colored with white mother-of-pearl and gradations. It is available in three colors: blue-green, brown, and charcoal gray. All models are paired with a stainless steel bracelet, but the blue-green dial model is also available as an Orient Star Prestige Shop limited edition with a leather strap. The brown dial model is sold exclusively at Orient Star's official online store, while the charcoal gray model with a leather strap is a limited edition model of 300 pieces in Japan.
