The Seiko House Ginza clock tower is a symbol of Tokyo's Ginza district. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Disney's founding, Mickey Mouse has appeared on the clock face. This is the first time that a character has been featured on the clock tower since its completion. The event will run from Thursday, October 5, 2023, until Saturday, November 18, 2023, which is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse's birthday. In addition, during this period, a Mickey Mouse-themed clock will also be displayed in the central show window of Seiko House Ginza. Enjoy this special event, along with the nighttime illumination.

Seiko House Ginza's clock tower gets a Mickey Mouse makeover!
On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Mickey Mouse will appear on the face of the Seiko House Ginza clock tower, a symbol of Ginza, Tokyo. His hands serve as the hour and minute hands. This is part of an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Disney.
The first Seiko House Ginza clock tower was completed in 1894. The second was built in 1932 and continues to watch over the city to this day. This is the first time that a character has been featured on the clock tower since the first was completed. The unveiling ceremony took place just after 10am on October 5th, and the clock tower's special dial was unveiled.

This special clock tower can be enjoyed until midnight on Saturday, November 18th, which is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse's birthday. At night, it will be lit up in purple to match the theme of "Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower" (an event that began on August 10th to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary, featuring a collection of limited-edition products for adults).

In addition, there will be special displays and merchandise for sale during the period.
A Mickey Mouse-themed clock will also be on display in the center!
A large clock featuring Mickey Mouse will also be on display in the Seiko House Ginza shop window facing the street.

Just like the clock tower, the Mickey Mouse-themed dial features gears arranged around it, with both hands pointing to the hours and minutes. The display is also surrounded by lamps whose light moves like a pendulum, creating the illusion of the clock on the rooftop in motion. There are also many other highlights, such as the way the mouse spins his hands in time with the chimes that ring from the rooftop every hour. This display will be on display from October 5th (Thursday) to November 19th (Sunday). It can be enjoyed every day from 8am to 10pm (until 7pm on the final day).
Limited edition items celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary
During this period, limited items celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary will be sold at Wako Ginza.

There will be a wide selection of fun merchandise, including Mickey Mouse-themed cookies and plate clocks exclusive to Wako. Furthermore, 50 pairs of customers who spend over 50,000 yen on Disney merchandise at any store or online store by Wednesday, October 18th will be entered into a lottery to be invited to the rooftop of Seiko House Ginza. Not only will you be able to enjoy the special Mickey Mouse design, but you'll also have a rare opportunity to take commemorative photos in front of the clock tower, which is normally closed to the public.
