World Tsusho Co., Ltd. has launched the "Franck Muller Premium Warranty," a product warranty system for customers who purchase a new Franck Muller watch at a directly managed boutique. Although this is a paid warranty system, it covers any breakdowns or problems caused by carelessness or improper handling.

Franck Muller launches new warranty system, "Franck Muller Premium Warranty"
World Tsusho Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as World Tsusho), the official importer and distributor of Franck Muller, has announced the launch of the "Franck Muller Premium Warranty (FMPW)," a paid watch warranty system valid for five years.
In many cases, when you purchase a watch, a free warranty is included. However, this warranty only covers natural breakdowns of the internal mechanism, and does not generally cover breakdowns or problems caused by negligence. That said, dropping a watch or causing a malfunction by operating it incorrectly is something that can happen to anyone. Depending on the watch, the repair costs alone can be an unexpectedly high expense. That's why World Tsusho has created a paid warranty program for customers who purchase a new Franck Muller watch at a direct-operated boutique.

You can sign up for the Franck Muller Premium Warranty by paying a one-time warranty fee at the time of purchase. The warranty fee varies depending on the plan; for a purchase of 88,000 yen, the warranty limit is up to 500,000 yen; for a purchase of 110,000 yen, the warranty limit is up to 1,000,000 yen; and for a purchase of 132,000 yen, the warranty limit is 1,500,000 yen (all prices include tax). You can freely choose any plan as long as the warranty limit does not exceed the purchase price of the watch. In addition, by signing up for the Franck Muller Premium Warranty, the product warranty period covering natural breakdowns is extended from two years to five years. Unlimited repair service is available during the five-year warranty period, but the repair costs incurred will be deducted from the warranty limit.
Since the purpose of the warranty is to restore functionality, it does not cover stains or discoloration on the exterior or replacement of consumables such as batteries that are deemed not to affect functionality. The same applies to overhauls for the purpose of adjustment. Furthermore, the warranty does not cover breakdowns due to loss, theft, or natural disasters, so be sure to check the terms and conditions carefully when signing up.
