The Roadmaster series has gained popularity year after year, with the release of the Roadmaster Marine GMT in 2020 and the Roadmaster Pilot GMT the following year. A common design feature is the stylish integrated bracelet, a rare feature for Ball Watch, and the GMT model's popularity stems from the smooth adjustment of the second time zone display. The Roadmaster Pilot GMT Black MOP is based on the Pilot GMT, which features an independently movable hour hand, and features a black mother-of-pearl dial, which changes appearance depending on the light and viewing angle. Being made from natural materials, no two watches have the same luster or color, adding to the appeal of this one-of-a-kind premium piece.
The hour hand can be adjusted independently

The bidirectionally rotating ceramic top bezel displays a 24-hour time zone, with daytime hours displayed in blue and nighttime hours displayed in black. In conjunction with the skeletonized GMT hand, which rotates once every 24 hours, it can display Greenwich Mean Time or a third time zone other than the home time. The hour hand can be independently adjusted using two pushers on the left side of the case (the pusher at 10 o'clock advances the hour in one-hour increments, and the pusher at 8 o'clock rewinds the hour in one-hour increments). This allows for quick adjustment to the local time while traveling. This quick-set function is an innovative mechanism developed by Phi Van Tran, head of Ball Watch's R&D department, Patrick Lab. Each pusher alternates between unlocked and locked with a slight rotation (1 click = 60°, 6 clicks = 1 rotation), preventing accidental operation and ensuring reliable water and dust resistance. The crown can be pulled out to a maximum of two positions; the first position is for adjusting the date, and the second position is for adjusting the time, with all hands except the second hand moving in tandem.

The 40mm diameter case, a standard size today, is made of titanium, which has the advantages of being hard, lightweight, and rust-resistant, and has a satin finish on the surface that gives it a subdued impression. The bracelet is a combination of titanium and stainless steel, and by optimizing the weight balance, it fits comfortably on the wrist. In addition, a sapphire case back is used so that the dynamism of the mechanical movement can be enjoyed.
