Popular microbrand holds trunk show at Kamine
The Crayon Trunk Show will be held at Espace de Kamine in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, for two days, on Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st, 2024. Crayon is one of the micro-brands that has been gaining attention in recent years. It is still fresh in our memory that the Anywhere watch won the Calendar & Astronomical Watch category at the 2022 Geneva Grand Prix Watchmaking (GPHG).

At this trunk show, not only will you be able to see the actual crayons, but the company's founder and designer, Remi Maiya, will also be visiting Japan, allowing you to experience the world of the crayons firsthand.
The trunk show will have five time slots each day (starting at 11:00, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, and 17:30). Participation will be by lottery, so those interested must apply on Kamine's official website by Thursday, January 11th, 2024. Winners will be contacted sequentially starting from Saturday, January 13th, 2024.

Four types of Anywhere will be exhibited at this trunk show. The first is the Anywhere White Gold C030-01, the award-winning model in the Calendar and Astronomical Watch category at GPHG 2022, and its color variation, the Anywhere Rose Gold C030-02. The third is the Anywhere Aurora, a rare model limited to 25 pieces worldwide, the company's first to feature a green dial and titanium case. And the fourth is the Anywhere Only Watch Charity Auction 2023 Edition, produced specifically for the Only Watch charity auction.

The Anywhere model features a complex mechanism that displays the sunset and sunrise times anywhere on Earth. The ratio of light blue to dark blue on the outer periphery of the dial changes to indicate the length of day and night and the times of sunrise and sunset. Manual winding (Cal. C030). 55 jewels. 21,600 vibrations per hour. Power reserve: approximately 72 hours. 18KWG case (39mm diameter, 9.5mm thick). Water resistant to 30m. Estimated price: 25 million yen (tax included, price may vary depending on exchange rate).

This model features an 18K rose gold case with a matching warm color scheme. The subdial at 6 o'clock is a calendar showing the month and date. Manual winding (Cal. C030). 55 jewels. 21,600 vibrations per hour. Power reserve of approximately 72 hours. 18K rose gold case (diameter 39mm, thickness 9.5mm). Water resistant to 30m. Estimated price: 25 million yen (tax included, price may vary depending on exchange rate).

New for 2023. This watch features a green dial, a first for the company, as a tribute to nature and the earth. It also features a grade 5 titanium case, a first for the company. Manual winding (Cal. C030). 55 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Ti case (39mm diameter, 9.5mm thick). Water resistant to 30m. Limited to 25 pieces worldwide. Estimated price: 26.8 million yen (tax included, price may vary depending on exchange rate).

This special edition was created for the charity auction "Only Watch." Inspired by Belgian painter Theo van Rysselberghe's pointillism painting "Moonlight over Boulogne-sur-Mer," the delicately hand-painted blue dial evokes the flash of moonlight reflecting off the water's surface. Manual-winding (Cal. C030). 55 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve: approximately 72 hours. Titanium case (39mm diameter, 9.5mm thick). Water resistant to 30m.
As its name suggests, the Anywhere is a complication watch that mechanically displays the sunrise and sunset times at the wearer's chosen location, anywhere in the world. It features standard hour and minute hands in the center and a sun-shaped pointer that rotates around the periphery once every 24 hours.
The sun pointer's path is made up of two colored discs, each indicating day and night, with the ratio of the two colors changing according to the time of sunrise and sunset. At 6 o'clock, there is a subdial that displays the month and date.
Despite being equipped with such a complex mechanism, the case is only 39mm in diameter and 9.5mm thick, making it an attractive size for everyday use. The movement is a manual winding type with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and you can enjoy the striped finish and deep chamfering on the bridge.
