The Bvlgari Bar at the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo will host a special cocktail event called "Symposia" featuring top bartenders.

A special cocktail event called "Symposia" will be held at the Bvlgari Bar in the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo in January 2024. The event will feature guest appearances by some of the world's top bartenders, who will prepare original cocktails depending on the date.

　Symposia will be held specially at the Bvlgari Bar on the 45th floor, the top floor of the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo. Symposia is a cocktail event held worldwide by Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts. It will be held three times in 2024: on the 11th (Thurs), 12th (Fri), 16th (Tues), and 28th (Sun). On each date, internationally acclaimed bartenders will be invited as guests, and each bar will prepare an original cocktail.

　During the event, guests can enjoy cocktails accompanied by music from DJ Crownedio Cuomo.

Guest Bartender

　On January 11th and 12th, the guest will be Akihiro Eguchi, the bartender from Singapore's Jigger & Pony.

　Eguchi moved to Singapore in 2007 and joined Jigger & Pony as a partner in 2012. He has led the bar to be selected as one of Asia's 50 Best Bars every year, taking first place in 2021. In 2023, the bar was selected as the world's number one hotel bar at Tales of the Cocktail, the world's largest cocktail festival.

　Eguchi has been selected as one of the world's 50 most influential people in the bar industry, and is invited to bars around the world as a guest bartender and also works as a bar consultant.

　Symposia will offer four original cocktails, including the Espresso Martini, which embodies Jigger & Pony's cocktail philosophy.

　On January 16th, the guests will be Shingo Gokan, Yuya Nagamine, Satoshi Sugiura, Yudai Namekawa, Chris Du, and Ryohei Yamagishi from SG Group, which operates in various Asian countries.

　Shingo Gokan, founder of SG Group, which operates in various Asian countries, is currently one of the most notable bartenders in the world. In 2012, he represented the United States at Bacardi Legacy, the world's largest cocktail competition, and won the world championship. After opening SpeakLow in Shanghai in 14, he has been opening new concept bars one after another both domestically and internationally.

　He has been awarded the World's 50 Best Bars and Asia's 50 Best Bars a record 49 times, and in 17 he was named International Bartender of the Year by Tales of the Cocktail, the bar industry's equivalent of the Academy Awards. He is also involved in promoting shochu around the world and developing products, expanding his activities beyond bartending, and is currently based in Tokyo, New York, Shanghai, Okinawa, and Hong Kong.

　On this day, a total of eight original cocktails will be available depending on the time of day.

　On January 28th, we will be welcoming Juan Yi Jun from "No Sleep Club."

　Co-owner and creative director of No Sleep Club, which opened in 2018, Juan Yi Jun has been contributing to Asia's diverse bar and restaurant scene for over 20 years.

　As the sous bartender and creative manager of Singapore's Operation Dagger, he has won numerous bar awards, including the world-renowned Tales of the Cocktail, The World's 50 Best Bars and Asia's 50 Best Bars.

　The event will feature four original cocktails, including "Rock and Rye," which combines dried persimmons and spices.
