Inspired by the Year of the Dragon in 2024, Roger Dubuis has ignited its in-house craftsmanship, specializing in tourbillons, and boldly sublimated the Maison's rich creativity by entrusting it to the dragon. The Excalibur Dragon Mono Tourbillon will guide its owner into a year of great soaring soar.
A three-dimensional dragon
The dragon is skillfully constructed from 27 brass components. The sides of each component are adorned with a lustrous black lacquer, while the pink gold-plated surface is polished. The 25 different levels create a 3D vision that exudes a sense of dignity and vigor, expressing the unique style of the Maison.
When you turn the watch over, the elegant metallized dragon appears on the inside of the sapphire crystal case back. Its overwhelming presence echoes the front and back of the watch. This stunning detail, which meticulously complements the front dial, expresses the overflowing power of the dragon god from both angles.

Skeletonizing a movement takes a lot of time: more milling is required to reduce the amount of material incorporated into the caliber, resulting in more facets, which in turn means that the finishing process takes longer.
Furthermore, Roger Dubuis only makes flying tourbillons. Unlike regular tourbillons, which are supported by bridges on both the front and back, flying tourbillons are fixed at a single point on the back. Ensuring stability while maintaining visual beauty requires advanced technology. The Geneva-based Manufacture Roger Dubuis is the only Maison capable of reliably producing high-performance flying tourbillons, each consisting of 63 components.
