What kind of watch is the Classic Moon?

　The brand is still fresh in our memory after winning the Tourbillon Award at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) in 2023 with its Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit. This year's new release is the Classic Moon, a return to its roots design that combines the brand's first moon phase display.

　The simple yet meticulously calculated form is composed of graceful curves from the case to the lugs and a gently curved bezel, creating a balanced overall look. The addition of a moon phase to this balanced timepiece highlights the brand's craftsmanship. The moon and stars are carved by artisans into aventurine glass, then hand-painted with white paint and Super-LumiNova and fired at high temperatures. The crater pattern on the surface of the moon is also hand-engraved, and the subdial is covered in a beautiful translucent blue enamel.

　The annual calendar automatically adjusts itself by recognizing the difference between the length of months (30 and 31 days), so manual adjustment using the crown is only required once a year on March 1st. The high-precision moon phase will not require adjustment for 125 years. The movement is the hand-wound Cal. LF126.02, which has a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. The case back is equipped with a power reserve indicator that allows you to check the remaining power of the mainspring.
