Armin Strom has released a new model, the "One Week Manufacture Edition," limited to 100 pieces!

Armin Strom unveiled the One Week Manufacture Edition, featuring a redesigned movement, the brand's first in-house movement. This model is the successor to the One Week First Edition, which debuted in 2023. Its openworked movement is saturated in gray and anthracite tones. It's limited to just 100 pieces.

　Independent watch brand Armin Strom has unveiled a new limited edition model, the One Week Manufacture Edition.

　The main difference between this model and the 2023 model is that color has been omitted to highlight the beauty of its construction. The main plate, bridges, and parts visible through the dial are coated with anthracite-colored PVD, creating a calm and tranquil gray tone that exudes mechanical charm.

　Other basic specifications are the same as the previous model. It features an openwork design that places many of the movement's dynamic elements on the dial side, making it instantly recognizable as an Armin Strom watch. The design, reminiscent of modern architecture, harmonizes form, function, aesthetics, and ergonomics, embodying traditional watchmaking techniques in a dynamic and innovative way.

　A distinctive feature of the new One Week watch is the power reserve indicator. Inspired by pocket watches, this feature uses a conical system in which a polished cone is driven by a conical gear on the case back, harmonizing with the three-dimensional shape of the movement.

　The movement continues to be the same as the previous model, the hand-wound Cal. ARM21. The two barrels located on the dial side work in tandem to ensure consistent energy supply, providing a long power reserve of approximately seven days. Furthermore, while the original One Week movement had a vibration frequency of 18,000 vph, the Cal. ARM21 has been increased to 25,200 vph, resulting in more stable accuracy and performance.

　The transparent case back also allows visitors to admire the meticulous hand-finished workmanship, particularly the anthracite PVD finish on the main plate and bridges, which make up the majority of the timepiece and create a perfect harmony with the stainless steel exterior.
