My Dior launches new collection featuring the "Cannage" motif in September

New pieces featuring the iconic "Cannage" motif from Dior's jewelry collection, "My Dior," will be released on Tuesday, September 10th. The new pieces include rings, earrings, and bracelets, and come in a wide variety of styles, including single-tone pink and white gold, two-tone yellow and white gold, and diamond-paved models.

My Dior: New collection featuring the iconic Cannage motif

　New items from Dior's "My Dior" collection will be released on Tuesday, September 10th. The collection includes 12 rings, earrings, and bracelets featuring the graphic "Cannage" pattern, a timeless Dior code. Cannage means woven rattan in French.

　This pattern has its roots in the Napoleon III-style chairs that Christian Dior, the founder of the brand, prepared for guests at his first collection, held on Avenue Montaigne in 1947. Furthermore, the cannage pattern was deeply etched in the memories of Victor de Castellane, the current Creative Director of Fine Jewelry, who visited a Dior boutique as a child, and this led to the design of the new collection.

　The new piece features the Maison's signature cannage motif, woven with gold threads. Crafted with exceptional craftsmanship, the intricate mesh pattern evokes the delicate intertwining of sheaves of wheat. The flat band base accentuates the cannage pattern, creating a three-dimensional effect throughout the entire piece.

　The combinations of this base material and the cannage material are endless, and it looks like we'll be able to enjoy a variety of variations in the future.

　The new models will also be available in single-tone pink gold, white gold, two-tone yellow and white gold, and models with pavé-set diamonds.

　A gold and black lacquer combination model is scheduled to be released in November. This simple and elegant collection exudes authentic charm no matter where you wear it, and is likely to become a new classic.
