As the fourth part of its 70th anniversary project, leather goods manufacturer Jean Rousseau has announced a new addition to its Atlantic collection, a Velcro strap, known for its robustness, durability, and comfortable fit. While Velcro is often associated with military watch straps, Jean Rousseau's Velcro straps are not only easy to fasten and remove, but also feature the high-quality finishes of watch straps, such as a bomb design, rolled finish, and stitching. This service is currently available at Atelier Jean Rousseau in Ginza, Tokyo.
High-quality details set it apart from military style
The strap is 4.5mm thick at the lug and 2mm at the tip, tapering gradually toward the tip. The sides feature a rolled-up finish, with the strap material folded inward. The stitching is meticulously sewn using thread in the same color as the material. A secure, adjustable Velcro closure ensures a comfortable fit for everyday wear.
