The unique NOMOS ring date

The unique NOMOS ring date, a design that has won numerous awards for its distinctive character, has previously only been used in automatic mechanical watches, but the Tangente 2 Date is the first to feature it in a manual-winding watch. Integrating technical complexity into the design, the ring date displays the passage of the month, while the large date window at 6 o'clock focuses on the day. At midnight or when the quickset function is activated, these two displays move in a beautiful double movement on the dial and rhodium-plated hands.

NOMOS' newly developed, patented manual-wound movement, Cal. DUW 4601, features a rapid date adjustment. It features the NOMOS swing system, a unique NOMOS escapement characterized by a blue balance spring. Not only does it highlight the three-quarter plate, a traditional feature of Glashütte watchmaking, but the plate of the date ring around the movement is also finished with NOMOS perlage.
