The dial features a white enamel finish, and the use of black details creates a sophisticated look not found in the standard model. Furthermore, the strap is made of durable and elegant Horween shell cordovan, highlighting the classic appeal.
The case back is also engraved with "Sondermodell Ludwig für Ärzte ohne Grenzen 1/250" (Special Edition for Doctors Without Borders), indicating that it is a limited edition of 250 pieces. NOMOS plans to donate a total of 125,000 euros (approximately 20 million yen) through sales of this watch, which is expected to further strengthen medical support around the world.

This model is equipped with the automatic movement, Cal. DUW 3001, developed and manufactured in-house by NOMOS. Despite being an ultra-thin movement at just 3.2 mm thick, it achieves high precision and stable operation.
This movement also incorporates the "NOMOS swing system." This is an escapement that controls the watch's precision, developed exclusively by NOMOS, demonstrating the company's advanced in-house manufacturing technology that does not rely on Swiss parts. The escapement is often referred to as the "heart" of a mechanical watch, and while it is typically supplied by major Swiss manufacturers, NOMOS has established its independence as a German brand by designing and manufacturing it in-house. The distinctive blue escape wheel of the NOMOS swing system can be seen through the skeletonized back of the watch, and stands out as a testament to the company's meticulous watchmaking.

The watch features a white enamel dial with black indexes, creating a sophisticated look not found in standard models. The strap is made of durable and elegant Horween shell cordovan, further enhancing its classic appeal.
This model comes in two sizes: the smaller Ref.NM282.S2 with a 36.4mm case diameter, and the slightly larger Ref.NM250.S2 with a 38.5mm case diameter. Both are rare models limited to 250 pieces worldwide and have been available at authorized retailers since late February 2025.
