New colors for the Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase

Glashütte Original, a watchmaking manufacturer that combines the traditions of watchmaking handed down through the generations in the Glashütte region of Germany with modern innovation, has added new color variations to its signature Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase. The new dials are the warm "Frosted Copper" and the cool, radiant "Frosted Silver," offering two contrasting yet harmonious combinations.

These new models feature a Frosted finish, which is applied by hand in the Glashütte Original manufactory. This grain-like surface finish reveals a variety of different expressions depending on the angle of the light, creating a sense of depth that the viewer will never tire of. Frosted Copper evokes the warmth of a sunset, while Frosted Silver evokes the transparency of a frosty winter morning. Both models achieve a deep color thanks to a lacquer finish and multiple coating layers, resulting in a highly aesthetically perfected look.

The 40mm stainless steel case features a polished and satin-finished finish, creating a sophisticated impression. The movement is the Cal. 36-24, developed in-house. It boasts a long power reserve of over 100 hours, and the silicon balance spring ensures anti-magnetic properties and temperature stability. Furthermore, the watch exudes German aesthetics, including traditional Glashütte features such as a three-quarter plate, blued screws, and circular graining.

The Senator Excellence collection to which this watch belongs is a series that brings together the pinnacle of Glashütte Original's technology and aesthetics, and after completion, each watch undergoes the brand's unique 24-day excellence test, which rigorously checks its overall precision, resistance to temperature changes, position tolerance, power reserve, etc. Only watches that pass this test are delivered to the user along with a Certificate of Excellence.
