 This mechanical watch, with a case diameter of 40mm, is Ball Watch's smallest aviation watch. Its Arabic numerals and generous hour and minute hands, giving it the tough look you expect from Ball Watch, ensure excellent legibility. The model name is inspired by the Silver Star, a medal awarded to soldiers recognized for their bravery in the U.S. military.

 The watch features a magnetically resistant inner case made of Mumetal, which provides electromagnetic shielding. To enhance corrosion resistance, the Mumetal alloy uses a unique copper-free formula. After a year of material development, the watch achieves a high magnetic resistance of 80,000 A/m, even blocking the magnetic fields of smartphones (approximately 24,000 A/m). Since many of the complaints about "watches running fast" that are brought to watch repair shops these days are due to magnetism, a highly magnetically resistant watch is a must-have for those who work in close proximity to magnetic equipment or who spend a lot of time with their left hand near a speaker, such as hospital workers or car commuters. Since smartphones are one of the most common objects that emit powerful magnetic fields, it would be ideal if more watches had improved magnetic resistance.

 Ball Watch's unique "SpringLOCK®" second-generation shock-resistant system reduces impact to the hairspring, one of the most delicate components of a watch, by up to 66% by enclosing it in a cage. If a watch is subjected to a large impact, the hairspring may become bent and not return to its original position, causing the watch's hands to advance too far. If the impact is even greater, the hairspring may fly out and get caught on other parts, eventually becoming immobile. This can lead to a worst-case scenario known as "hair tangles," so Ball Watch's unique, robust shock-resistant system also contributes to stable accuracy.

SpringLOCK® is a shock-resistant device that reduces shock to the balance spring by 66%, improving watch accuracy. The cage is designed to absorb the energy generated when the watch is subjected to external shock, protecting the balance spring. Ball Watch's in-house R&D department, Patrick Lab, has improved the material with high antimagnetic properties, and the system is now produced and assembled in-house, resulting in the second-generation system.
