The L'Armorial Répétition Mystérieuse Midnight Fjord and L'Armorial Répétition Mystérieuse Dawn Rose are true jewels of horology, elevating the minute repeater complication into a unique sensory experience. Faithful to tradition, these timepieces combine a refined and meditative approach to time with exceptional artistry.

Each piece in the series is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship. The shape of the 41.6 mm 18K white gold case is inspired by classical architecture. Reminiscent of the golden ratio and the purity of Doric columns, these watches exude the tradition of great, timeless masterpieces. Light plays on the polished surfaces adorned with engravings, further enhancing the ensemble with finishes of absolute precision.

A dial shaped by light and mystery

The main dial, the centrepiece of the L'Armorial, is adorned with rare, translucent and intricate Grand Feu enamel. Dawn Rose captures the softness of a pearly dawn, while Midnight Fjord evokes the intense blue depths of the north. Beneath the transparent surface lies an intricate guilloched pattern resembling the spiral structure of a pine cone. This motif, dear to Michel Parmigiani, embodies mathematical harmony and its intertwining with the Fibonacci sequence.

A time known only to the owner

The subtle details are not immediately apparent. Turn the watch over to reveal discreet rose gold hour and minute hands on the case back. A Guatemalan white jade disc holds the rose gold hands, which delicately tick away the hours in a minimalist, meditative display. Telling time becomes a private luxury, a ritual for its owner.

Enchanting Chimes

L'Armorial Minute Repeater Midnight Fjord

The Midnight Fjord and Dawn Rose are powered by the Renaud & Papi hand-wound movement, the manual-winding Caliber PF355, a horological masterpiece comprised of 392 components. To achieve the ultimate in sonority, each hammer is engineered to strike with millimeter-level precision, while the intentionally hollow case naturally amplifies the sound. The result is a warm, pure tone, a vibration that seems to pause in time before fading into silence.

The top-of-the-line movement boasts a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The minute repeater with its cathedral gongs produces a deep, rich tone, offering an exceptional listening experience. Each gong, long enough to complete one and a half revolutions around the movement, sustains each note, creating a captivating musicality inspired by the great bells of cathedrals.

Craftsmen who preserve watchmaking expertise [Guilloching]

The pine cone motif, which is the core of the artistic character, is meticulously carved in Jan von Känel's studio.

The design, which reflects the symmetry and Fibonacci sequence of nature, amplifies the beauty of the interweaving light and texture.

The creation of such a work of art requires exceptional craftsmanship: behind every detail lies a master craftsman with centuries of tradition. Jan von Känel's precise guilloching gives the dial a captivating and dynamic texture.

Craftsmen who preserve watchmaking expertise [Engraving]

Eddy Jaquet's delicate engravings are emblematic of Parmigiani Fleurier's tradition of telling visual stories within its creations.

The intricate engravings by Eddy Jaquet highlight each of the central details on the guilloched surface.

Grand Feu enamel

Vanessa Letch's masterful technique involves applying multiple layers of translucent enamel to the Grand Feu enamel dial, then polishing it to create a deep sparkle and luster.

Grand Feu enamel is the work of Vanessa Letsch, whose technique of firing enamel to a translucent finish is an almost impossible feat. For decades, these three master artisans have been an integral part of Michel Parmigiani's carefully selected specialists, transforming each timepiece into a hallmark of artisanal Haute Horlogerie.

Up to eight layers of enamel are painstakingly applied, with each layer finely tuned to control thickness and brightness, before being meticulously polished by hand to reveal hidden details and give the material a rare depth.

By reversing the roles of front and back, this watch's display is completely different from conventional timepieces. The main dial is a work of art that fully demonstrates rare craftsmanship, while the time, known only to the owner, is hidden on the reverse dial. With a private and introspective approach to time, this piece redefines the relationship between timepiece and wearer.
