Mauron Musy has announced the MU06 Mayura, a limited edition of 13 pieces, with a case and dial coated using arc evaporation. Mayura means "male peacock" in Sanskrit.

MU06 Mayura

Automatic (Cal. MM02). 27 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 40 hours. Ti case (diameter 41mm, thickness 11mm). Water resistant to 100m. Limited to 13 pieces worldwide. Estimated price: 396 million yen (tax included).

The new MU06 Mayura combines boldness and precision with an innovative coating applied to the case and dial. When the metal comes into contact with the coating, it reacts, emitting an unpredictable rainbow glow, giving each watch a unique visual signature.

Cal. MM02, the heart of the "MU06 Mayura"

The MU06 Mayura is equipped with the Caliber MM02, Mauron Musy's first in-house movement with a micro-rotor. Fascinated by architecture, Christophe Musy considered space an essential element in the design of the movement, and instead of simply using mechanical arrangements, he adopted a three-dimensional "staircase-like" structure in which volume, perspective, and contrast seamlessly harmonize. This resulted in a balanced finish for all bridges, openings, and surfaces.

The Cal. MM02, which has an 8-beat movement and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours, is equipped with a tungsten micro-rotor, which gives it both high performance and delicacy, embodying the Mauron-Musy philosophy of pursuing mechanical excellence and perfection.
High-performance AAT coating (arc evaporation method)

Developed to meet the extreme demands of the aerospace and motorsport industries, this high-performance coating, AAT (Advanced Arc Technology), also brings new benefits to watchmaking. This innovative coating is based on a carbon structure and not only gives the metal its unique rainbow-colored appearance, but also its hardness and heat resistance. Arc evaporation deposits a thin, extremely hard, and highly adherent coating that protects the case and components from friction, oxidation, and scratches, ensuring exceptional durability.

"Swiss Crafted" title

Mauron-Musy watches do not have the "Swiss Made" inscription, but instead have the "Swiss Crafted" label, which certifies that all components are developed and manufactured in Switzerland: the movement, case, dial, and all other elements of the watch are developed, manufactured, and assembled in Switzerland.
Exclusive gasket-free NO-Ring® technology

After three years of research into the eternal challenge of watches - ensuring water resistance - Mauron-Musy has developed nO-Ring® technology, a revolutionary mechanical waterproofing system that ensures water resistance without the use of gaskets. Its manufacturing process requires 36 highly skilled components, ensuring complete water resistance up to 300m. The case, developed entirely in-house, eliminates the need for costly maintenance associated with gasket deterioration.
