To commemorate its founding day, June 1st, Oris has announced the "Hölstein Edition 2025." This special pilot's watch is based on the brand's "ProPilot" design and features a dial entirely coated with Super-LumiNova®, a luminous paint. Only 250 units will be sold worldwide, and in Japan it will only be available at the Oris Ginza Boutique.
A pilot's watch born from an idea that's "unusual"
Oris has announced the 2025 model of its annual "Hölstein Edition." This sixth in the series is based on the "ProPilot" and is designed with the concept of "challenging yourself to do things you normally wouldn't do." Only 250 pieces will be sold worldwide.
Automatic (Cal. 400). 21 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 120 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 41mm). Water resistant to 10 bar. Limited to 250 pieces worldwide. Price: 726,000 yen (tax included).
The highlight of this new model is the fully luminous dial, which is being used for the first time in the ProPilot series. The entire dial is coated with Super-LumiNova®, which gives a minimalist impression with its monochrome color during the day, but changes to a glowing green in the dark. This dial ensures high readability as a pilot's watch while also emphasizing its unique side.
The stainless steel case is 41mm in diameter and 11.9mm thick. Its black DLC coating not only enhances the monochrome contrast of the entire watch, but also blends into the darkness in dark places, further enhancing the brilliance of the dial. The transparent case back is engraved with a serial number indicating that this is a limited edition of 250 pieces.
The Cal. 400, which will continue to be installed in the 2024 model, is a high-performance movement with a power reserve of approximately five days and anti-magnetic properties suitable for modern lifestyles. Oris watches equipped with this movement are covered by a 10-year long-term warranty when registered on MyOris.
