Baume & Mercier has released five new models from its popular "Riviera" collection. The lineup includes three pastel-colored 33mm models for women, a white 42mm model for men, and a gold-colored 39mm model with a vintage feel. The vibrant colors of these new models further enhance the charm of the Riviera, which originates from the luxury resort area, and herald the arrival of refreshing summer.
The iconic dodecagon in summer colors
Launched in 1973, the Riviera collection is inspired by the French summer resort of the same name. The current model, which underwent a 2021 update, embodies elegant sporty chic with its 12-sided case and bezel, and a bracelet that blends seamlessly with the case. This time, the lineup has been expanded with refreshing colorways evocative of the beautiful nature of luxury resorts and the tranquil summers that flow there.
Two types of 33mm diameter models are available
Quartz movement. Stainless steel case (33mm diameter, 9.22mm thick). Water resistant to 50m. 276,000 yen each (tax included).
The 33mm women's model is available in three new colors: warm silver, clear blue, and rose pink. The dial, featuring a wave-like pattern, radiates a subtle sheen, adding elegance and glamour to the wrist. All models are interchangeable, allowing for tool-free replacement, allowing for a wide range of styling options. Additionally, the watch is equipped with a quartz movement boasting a 10-year battery life, making it ideal for the busy lifestyle of businesspeople.

The men's model comes in two contrasting models, both of which, like the women's model, feature interchangeable stainless steel bracelets that can be changed without tools.
The Ref. M0A10829 is the first white dial model to appear since the collection's revamp in 2021. The wave-patterned dial is accentuated by a black flange, creating a pure yet powerful impression. The case diameter is 42mm, and the thickness is a slim 10.66mm.
The movement is Sellita Cal. SW200, which has a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The case back is transparent.

The other model features a gold-colored dial with a warm vintage feel. This dial features a vertical satin finish instead of a wave motif, and the Roman numerals are omitted, creating a glamorous and sophisticated atmosphere. The blue second hand also serves as an effective accent that highlights the dial color.
The compact case, measuring 39mm in diameter and 10.2mm thick, houses a Baumatic movement that boasts high precision, high magnetic resistance, and a long power reserve of approximately 120 hours. The movement can be seen through the transparent case back.
