A limited edition "Mini Sports Timer Clock" model in glorious gold.
Seiko has been the official timer for the World Athletics Championships for 38 years. To commemorate the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships, which will be held this year, the company has announced a limited edition mini clock, the "Mini Sports Timer Clock Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships Commemorative Limited Edition Model." The release date is Friday, August 1, 2025. 2025 units will be sold in Japan only.

Seiko's sports timers are used in numerous sporting events. The "Mini Sports Timer Clock," which follows that design, now comes in a limited edition model commemorating the Tokyo 2025 IAAF World Championships. It features a quartz movement and a resin case (93mm high x 104mm wide x 45mm deep). Only 2025 units are available in Japan. Priced at 5500 yen (tax included).
Seiko's Mini Sports Timer Clock has an appealing design that resembles a scaled-down version of the sports timers actually used in competitions. While the regular yellow model is popular, the new model released this time comes in a gorgeous gold color. The front features an LCD display and the Seiko logo, while the back has operation buttons and a plate featuring the Tokyo 2025 IAAF World Championships logo.

Not only is it stylish, but it also has excellent functionality. In addition to its alarm, snooze, and auto-stop functions, it also has a countdown timer, stopwatch, full auto-calendar, and light, making it convenient for everyday use. The time display can be switched between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
It can be used for about a year using two AA manganese batteries. To replace the batteries, slide the battery cover on the back.

As a limited edition commemorative model for the event, it will be sold in a special box marked with the Tokyo 2025 IAAF World Championships logo and a limited quantity of 2025.
The Tokyo 2025 IAAF World Championships will be held from Saturday, September 13, 2025. Why not watch this historic moment with this mini clock?
