Romain Gauthier, headquartered in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, was founded in 2005 by its namesake, a precision machinery designer who studied watchmaking under Philippe Dufour. The brand's watches, featuring unique structures and designs, as well as exceptionally high-quality finishes on the exterior and movement, have attracted considerable attention from watch enthusiasts and achieved notable success among the micro-maisons that have been increasing their presence in the watch market in recent years.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Roman Gautier, and the "Romain Gautier Tokyo Exhibition 2025" will be held in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, to look back on the brand's history and provide a deeper insight into the brand's world. During the exhibition, founder Roman Gautier will also be visiting Japan to welcome customers at the venue.

Immerse yourself in the world of Romain Gautier
Romain Gauthier unveiled its first creation, the Prestige HM, at Baselworld in 2007, two years after the brand was launched. Since then, it has released a number of masterpieces, including the Prestige HMS in 2010, the Logical One in 2013, the Insight Macrorotor in 2017, the Insight Macrorotor Skeleton in 2020, and the C by Romain Gauthier in 2021. This exhibition provides an opportunity to look back on the brand's history, with valuable discontinued models that have become its legacy on display, as well as current collections.
Also of note is the introduction of the meticulous manufacturing techniques that are one of the major factors behind Roman Gautier's success. These include the high-precision manufacturing of parts born from Gautier's expertise in precision mechanical engineering, the hand-chamfering technique that involves four processes, and Grand Feu enamel in the company's own workshop... These high-level craftsmanship and other techniques will be on display.
