The Armin Strom Orbit line has been expanded with the new Orbit Lime Green and Orbit Ice Blue. These limited edition models feature the Orbit's unique column-wheel date display mechanism and a lime green or ice blue fumé dial.

The Orbit is a model released in 2022 that features a unique date display mechanism. The bezel features a scale that indicates the numbers 1 to 31, and a centrally mounted hand points to these numbers to indicate the date. What's surprising is that the date display mechanism can be switched on and off. When the mechanism is not activated, the central hand always points to 12 o'clock, but by pressing a push button on the side of the case, the hand rotates and displays the correct date. Pressing the push button again returns the hand to 12 o'clock. This is achieved using the column wheel and lever visible at the 10 o'clock position.
The offset dial allows for a visually appealing view of the movement's mechanics. Three finger bridges are lined up at 3 o'clock, supporting the micro-rotor and the patented Equal Force barrel. Each part is hand-polished by artisans in the company's own workshop, allowing visitors to admire traditional finishing touches such as angle-graining, circular-graining, and circular-graining.
